Ha ! I could'nt have slept or relaxed there for fear of falling or tripping up, not much room to move around. Also the nightmarish monkeys, giraffes etc just too disorientating, like being in a cranky movie. Tim was amazingly cool considering..🥺

It is not a deserted area. It is the NDSM in Amsterdam and probably the hippest/coolest area of Amsterdam. Full of restaurants in all classes, full of bars, in the summer full of festivals, terraces and parties. There is a Graffiti art Museum, a Skatepark and in one of those halls is a kind of art-village with a lot of ateliers with people working on all kind of art, besides there are tons of new apartment blocks. Especially with good weather thé place to be. The ferry takes you for free to the Houthavens (where I live), which is an interesting area to visit itself and another free ferry takes you within 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, to the Central Station itself.

The restaurant has multiple locations and the food is really good. Its not ok he alwas assaulted ofcourse, but it would be a shane if you didnt went to the restaurant if you do stay in Amsterdam. I do recommend going to the restaurant, in the ciry centre there are also 2 locations!

Maybe you like it, maybe that's your cup of tea, but it's kind of gross to others. You can't reverse your skewed demographics now, it would have been nice to have it be the Dutch in their own native habitat, but it's like any other melting pot. A whole lotta nothing but grime and social disfigurement. That's why Asian countries are so popular as tourist destinations. They aren't socially disfigured.

This place is known for throwing raves and music festivals, hence the isolation. No, it is not safe. There is a small bar area where the spiral staircase ascends. This 'balcony' is not closed in and a man was killed after falling over the edge back in 2018 during one of their parties. Hearing the creeks of the crane, that clearly isn't upkept, I would not be surprised if it started to simply rust away, especially being next to the salt water. I'd also be concerned with the cleanliness factor, or lack thereof, and would have walked out and stayed somewhere else.🇦🇺

The only pieces of land in between are the West Frisian Islands that cannot keep out all the salt from the North Sea. Therefore the water is most definitely salted. Why would you think that a crane that is sitting on a wharf would be 24kms inland?

Tetanus has nothing to do with rust, it's just a common misconception. The bacteria causing the tetanus infection is in soil/dirt. So gardening without gloves is a real danger no one thinks about. Stepping on a rusty nail can cause a sepsis in the worst cause, no tetanus shot can prevent that. The cause for the sepsis isn't the rust on the nail, rather sepsis causing bacteria that's on the nail and it's forced deep into the tissue by stepping on it. Well, no, I would not stay at this hotel. That is not the type of settings that I would stay in!! And that noise you heard is probably from the steel support beams react from the wind, cold and heat. Also, wait support of the steel floors in that room could be reacting as well to you and your wait walking around there. Yes, just how wooden floors react to people walking on top of the wooden floor areas. They skrewk supporting new wait. Again, steel does expand and retracts in this air environment. And then the noise could have been another guest staying in one the other rooms. So, again a very interesting hotel to be in. But I could have taken that hotel cost or charge and gone to a regular nice hotel for about $145.00 to $165.00 for two or three nights. And then see the sights in downtown Amsterdam along the river walks. Then go out to dinner to nice restaurant from me touring the city or from a referral from the front desk/concierge staff for a couple of nights. Also, go to a couple of museums and possibly a nice night club and/or bar or pub for a drink or two. Again out and about around the city. And still have maybe $400.00 to $600.00 left over from this here hotel charge of over $1600.00 That is just me!!😊😊
