Had someone ridiculed this group of Jewish people for their appearance, they would no doubt have cried 'racism' and expected the near-by police officers to have taken appropriate action. This family are an absolute disgrace. Equally disgraceful is the lack of action by the police officer who was stood very close to where this verbal abuse of the Horseguards officer was taking place. I am going to make an assumption and say that he was worried about being called a racist by the Jewish family had he remonstrated with them. Shame on him for not coming to the Horseguard officers aid. Massive shame on this family.

They rely on Christian guilt over the Holocaust. Now, admittedly, the Holocaust was a tragic and terrible time in history but these ultra orthodox Jews would be the first to cry foul if someone made a comment about their ridiculous attire. The ultra orthodox Jews behave even more appallingly in Israel itself. Whenever they are near Christian churches or convents they will spit at nuns. There's footage of this on KZfaq...search it out. Nope...my compassion for these folks is just about at an end.

I am so utterly disgusted that a member of the Kings Guard is tormented and made fun of like that, and two police officers stood there and allowed it to happen. I have seen several videos of Hasidic Jews and the bad behaviors and disrespect they show our guards. I am Scottish born and raised in a military family(both male and female have served) and I take this gutter snipe behavior personally. If they cannot show respect for our men and women who serve with honour and distinction, then they should not be allowed anywhere near them.

Their behaviour is disgraceful, but they had broken no law, and the job of the armed guards isn't really to look after the Lifeguards. The armed guards did actually have a word with the elders of the group after this was filmed in an attempt to educate them about the Guards being members of the British military who deserve to be treated with respect. I doubt it will have much of an effect on these people though, as they see themselves as superior to everyone else, especially Gentiles. As ultra-orthodox (Hasidic) Jews, they are exempt from military service in Israel, and also from paying income tax. After watching this behaviour from quite a few groups of these people, I'm beginning to understand why throughout history they have been thrown out of so many different countries at one time or another.

@@kev845same. I have had dealings with Hasidic Jews in the Lake District. There was a large group of them watching while their children terrorised a flock of rare sheep. I was furious and couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. I was lucky enough to find a policeman who had to have a word with them.

And yes, expelled from 150 countries. Are they even Hebrews, or Ashkenasis from khazakstan? 60 million Christians of European heritage died saving them from the narzee murderers. A little respect would appropriate. The Guard is on duty, it's his place of work, and he's a military officer, therefore EVEN MORE RESPECT. He's put his life on the line for his nation, and let's hope that's not on the table, but the commitment is there. RESPECT IT!

I've already witnessed bad behavior from men of this religious group. What a mockery of their belief to harass someone for the sheer fun of it. Ignorance at it's best. Well….because it ISNT “people of the Jewish faith” it is one VERY small section of the Jewish faith. Most Jewish people going thru HorseGuards you’d never notice. These people stand out because they want to, and that’s because, sadly, they’re a fundamentalist group, almost a cult. And like most fundie groups they believe that they’re the “chosen people” and the rest of us, including other Jewish people, are just heathens that deserve no respect. And that’s how they behave. Even other Jews are not, in the main, fond of this group for this very reason. Sadly many people use the behaviour of this cult as a measure of Judaism as a whole which really isn’t true at all. (And no I don’t support Israel, but I also dislike people unfairly tarring a whole faith by the crazy behaviour of a few)
