Dr. S. V. M. Satyanarayana, Professor, Department of Physics, Pondicherry University, is no more. Today (16-09-2023), early morning, he has left this world. This is a loss to the Physics community in general. He used to teach students of Government Schools and Colleges almost every weekend for free of cost with a great passion. Sir can you suggest some best books for Group Theory for my Msc Physics Sem1 ...the syllabus is as follows: Definitions; Multiplication table; Rearrangement theorem; Isomorphism and homomor- phism; Illustrations with point symmetry groups; Group representations : faithful and un- faithful representations, reducible and irreducible representations; Lie groups and Lie algebra with SU(2) as an example.[10 lecture hours]

Thank you so much for uploading these lectures, Sir. The earlier lectures by Satya Sir given at Kerala were not very audible. However, advertisements come in every five to six minutes. This does not happen in other youtube even without a subscription. Is it a setting issue while uploading or some problem at our end?
