Yes to what you said about imperfections in plants. Goes for humans too. Society obsessed with things being so symmetrical and perfect including our selves. It's not natural. Houses are symmetrical and shoes and msn made things. Trees are not. Humans are not. Even snowflakes and grass and ants. No 2 are the same life is unique and alive. And that makes it freaking beautiful! I even struggle to keep this at the fore front of my mind sometimes to appreciate all life the way it deserved

Hi miss , just have a question? Hawain pothos different from giant Hawain pothos ?
@plantluxxe
@plantluxxe 6 ай бұрын
Hello! The difference is the color of the leaves. Hawaiian pothos is a common name that the plant has received …another house hold name for the same pothos is called “high gold” pothos…. It’s the same as a golden pothos but has more high gold in the leaves and stem in the cultivar. To get a Hawaiian, the grower must propagate from a node or tissue culture of a preexisting high gold pothos to get the under and special variegation. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️🌿

Hi there! I’ve never staked a plant before and would really love to get huge leaves on my golden Pothos. Is the height of the stake super important? In other words, do you see a significant growth difference at taller and taller heights (say, 3 ft vs 4 vs 6) ? Thank you!!
@plantluxxe
@plantluxxe 2 жыл бұрын
Hi F M, I use large stakes, 4 to 8 foot tall, for my poles. I think a larger pole makes it easier to handle to plant. I have a few that are on 3 foot poles too and they have giant leaves? It depends on the maturity of the plant too, so try a larger pole and see what happens? Thanks for watching and commenting!

So I have a question I have these beauties the ginormous ones outside in my backyard and I have a license to sell them however I heard from one of my customers that you cannot just take the giant pothos take it off the tree and put it in the soil or it will die so I’m curious I would have to prop them in water first before I can sell these ?? Or is there a secret to keeping them in the same growth routine by just putting them on a pole please help thank you
@plantluxxe
@plantluxxe 6 ай бұрын
Hello thank you for watching and commenting 🌿❤️ Here’s my advice: Start them in water, make sure it’s well rooted, at least 4 to 6 inches of roots… Place it it sphagnum moss… Then sell The customer can easily put them in soil Give them detailed/step by step instructions with the purchase of their plant. The plant should thrive.❤️🌿❤️🌿

Great job. I’ve been trying for about a year growing adult size pothos hydroponically with medium results ....when you stake the vines do you go around the pole (I’m using home made coco poles ) horizontally or straight up vertically without rapping around the pole?
@plantluxxe
@plantluxxe 3 жыл бұрын
Hello! I have done it a few different ways...1.moss pole, 2. Wooden stake. I like the wooden stake better but that’s just a personal preference. Moss poles are great but I just haven’t gotten around to making my own yet. Maybe someday 😂 How I stake them is that I usually use bread ties or light floral wire and fix them to the pole. I show how to do that in a another video. I go straight up the pole and I have also gone around the pole. Straight up is the best practice. It’s easier to control the vines and overall aesthetic of the plant. And I feel like my plants that I fastened to the pole straight up get more growth because more sunlight can get to more places on the 🪴 plant. Thank you for watching!!

@@hassanghavam8598 when you propagate from a large leaf with a node, all growth looks larger and mature if you put it in excellent lighting and are fertilizing and watering regularly... you may get juvenile of shoots in soil that you didn’t plant, but that’s because of the magic of pothos!!!!

@@hassanghavam8598 the leaves that grow from the growth point are always larger than juvenile leaves because it’s a mature plant and not a juvenile plant... however, keep in mind that it takes time to grow and conditions need to be optimal! @@le-auss hello again! I just saw that I missed this part of the question. Oooops! That is a great question and I have many examples growing in my home from my propagations. Sometimes the cutting grows smaller and sometimes it develops into large leaf. Better to have south facing window for optimal growth for a pothos. But east will get results just slower ones, and maybe not large . Pothos grow larger with more light. In the wild they are considered invasive species. I am going to chat about this in a Qn A video and show examples of cuttings with growth! It’ll be fun. The Q n A is my next video.

@@le-auss oh, and my pothos propagation didn’t start from zero…. It grew giant leaves…I will show it in video. Do you see any growth on your node yet?

@@plantluxxe thanks for your answer, so if i understand even your mid cutting grow directly big leaf sometime! And no i still dont have growht on it, i have two cutting, one top cutting with only half of a node (everything as rotted) and i also have a mid cutting (the stem is 1 inch wide or 1 inch and a half) with two node, the seller shipped that one To me two weeks ago with aleready a new leaf (the new leaf is 1 inch or one inch and a half only). Right now im trying To make roots out of this one before planting it with a pole, i dont think the first one Will survive so all my hope is on the mid cutting, Will see how big the leaf will grow on it🤷‍♂️ and yea, i Will look your q and a for sure!
