Ought to rig the drills on your wall to spin with a button. Wait for the bots to get close and then hit the button. You'll kill a few that way. Could be hilarious. Use a button over a switch for a good ol fashioned rope-a-dope.

You could eliminate the need for the red switch by changing the logic gate to and AND gate, and hooking the green switch and the sensor into it as input. Then set the output to the vacuum pumps.

You totally can use the vacuum pumps for fertilizing your plants, just give it a try.

To make your farm single switch. Use an and gate between the switch and sensor for planting. With watering, you could activate it automatically with a sensor once the planter gets to the end. Also use an and gate between the end of planting sensor and water sensor.

Just toss the same amount of fertilizer in the chest as there are seeds and then activate the system twice, it'll fertilize for you.

I think you're base and style of building is the coolest and most astheticly pleasing of all the scrap tubers! But I also think it would be cool if you made it almost complete automatization of your farm and maybe a giant Gatling gun on top of your base for the big farmbots. Idk just some suggestions :]

Once you unlock all the clothing, it won't let you put anymore boxes into the Dressbot, if a box is already in the dressbot, it just won't let you open it and you'll have to let someone else open it to get rid of it.

Just saying, you could simply have an and gate that the sensor and switch feed into that activates the pumps, that way the red switch would be unnecessary. Therefore, instead having the chance of forgetting that switch and wasting seeds, you wouldnt have to remember anything

I think the cotton seeds are an excellent addition to the trader. Corn and paint flowers would also be nice to have.

Hey Moonbo you can program the vacuums to suck the actual crops. If you this you can pump out crops as well as suck them in so basically its an automatic harvester

If you replace the last brown block with a sensor painted the same colour and set to switch mode, you could use that signal to turn off the circuit by connecting it and the original switches to XOR gates. That way a single switch flip will plant the seeds, then at the end, stop the planting process and reset the trolley. edit: You could also set up the same thing on the watering system, then use a timer delay so the watering system automatically starts a few ticks after the seeding system, then the whole system would plant, water and reset with zero waste from a single click.

Minor thing on the wheels, they dont actualy 'roll' on the bar, if you put wheels in a fixed machine ontop of other fixed plates/blocks, they just act like normal blocks and the friction value basicly let them slide, you can use any 2x2 or 3x3 block with the exact same effect (also same for the metal wheels found in the warehouse). Only time wheels actualy work with proper turning and gravity is having them on the actualy ground/map.

Yeah, I noticed this too and just switched my wheels out for armored glass sliders. Actually works way better than the wheels.

I for one couldn't find cotton at all anywhere so I couldn't make a bed or unbox stuff so happy with the update I will say that bananas are a bit harsh they could have just asked for one of the low tear crops like beets.

You don't need a chemical container. Put the fertiliser in the large chests like you do with the seeds and it will fertilise the crops for you

@Moonbo When you have aquired all the clothing of a particular rarity the button in the dressbot just goes grey and you cant open any more of them. Either save them for later updates or have your friends join your game and use the boxes. Cotton has the same crop value as potatoes. 1.5

Hi Moon, if you leave your planter pumps reverse the direction to suck when your plants fully grow you can hit your switch they will harvest

watershed is a natural water reservoir, you have a pump house. :)

the raids wont actually give you more bots in this case because its still the same size farm either way. If you doubled the size on each side of the chunk border, then you would get more bots

Yeah, I had a 2-tile farm. I actually got two much lower level raids with just a haybot and 8 greenies.

If you put an and gate on your planter you can connect the sensor and the green switch to it and the planter will only activate when the switch is on so you don't need a red switch.

When you have all the clothing, the next garment box wont get picked up when you press "PICK UP" in the Dressbot

it will not let you craft it ad all. the moment you put a garment box into the dressbot it will not let you start crafting it ad all so little tip don't build more then 1 dressbot cause if you have more and there all crafting and you hit the last item but you still have some crafting in the bots you will not be able to get it out or pick up or delete the dressbot i had this happen to me and i had to get a friend to join my game to unlock it for him self

add more blocks holding up the ramp mechanism, if you get tape bots on a raid they might shoot it down

Hey Moonbo, just FYI, found this out by chance and I think it'd help you out in the long run. The farming plots dry out a little as crops grow (no spoilers there and no extra credit points for already knowing that) but apparently when they're on their last growth stage like that, if you water them again it forces them to bear fruit; aka finish growing and ready for harvest. I've done this with potatoes, tomatoes, and red beats so far, but I'm pretty sure it's something that could be done for every crop. Try it out and save yourself some raids.

Moonbo, I love your set up with the farm with the drills and saw blades. But what bout the raids with tape bots and the main bosses? Try putting a break blocks to take cover from the tape bots. Love your videos! Keep up the great work

same thing with seeds. there is no need to use an extra switch to disable pumps from planting seeds, one logic gate will do.

Hey man.. have you tried farming underground.. I have covered a hole in the terrain with blocks and put in an elevator.. the bots cant attack the flat ground so they just stand around

If you find lots of chunk things that give you double raids then you could make several small farms that are too small to get raids. Would make farming far easier

Adding cotton seeds to the traderr was a wise decision. Now they just need to add a renewable resource for ember such as making it a craftable item by using gas and wood.

my truck looks 90% the same, i can stick 79 crates on it and drive. Just stick crates to sides and you won't flip.

what happens when you unlock all clothing is that they keep droping but the button in the clothing bot is gonna be greyed out and you cant open it as there is nothing left, and the green purple and yellow ones have individual sets only found in thouse two. atm i have 21 green and 5 purples i cant open as i got it all, still missing a few yellow tho

farming, in one house it takes longer for a plant to grow than in another. I picked up the soil and put it back in place, and I think the problem was solved. Check it out, maybe my idea is right.

Cotton value is 1.5 same as Potatoes. Also, you should water before planting seeds. The plants don't start growing unless they have been watered and you can water before you plant. 😁

MoonBo, if you haven't reported it yet you need to let the Devs know about your Raid glitch. That is not supposed to be happening. I've seen fields 10 times your size, as well as fields separated that all get only a single Raid timer.

Hey moonbo why dont you put a sensor at the of planting machine , the sensor would be connected to switch, when your planting machine reach the end it hit the sensor which will turning off the you planting machine the same with your watering machine. Less button more automation.

I tried this game when it became popular a little while back, but I ended up refunding it as I didn't quite "get" it. Has there been any big updates since that time? Was it May? It seems like it's been longer than that since I played last, but it looks like that was when the survivor mode came out.

You will not be able to open garmet boxes if you unlock every single garmet of said rarity, I unlock all gold just to see what was available and after a while I wasn't able to open them.

That depends on the raid tier. You can check the crop values needed to trigger specific enemy types on the wiki.

What if you add vacuums infront of the other vacuum so that first they will pick the crops and then automatically plant it afterwards I know this is pretty useless but it’s pretty cool to automate planting and picking

I have all cosmetics, all that happens when you unlock then all is that the button is permanently grayed out and you can't open the boxes anymore
