Growing Gourmet Mushrooms in 1/2 Gallon Containers With Pasteurized Wood Pellets

Күн бұрынFirst time to grow mushrooms and used the food grade 1/2 gallon containers from store bought cashews. Similar food grade container is also available in Amazon. I’m surprised of the results. Able to fruit 4/4 and harvested a decent amount of mushrooms using this container and a pasteurized wood pellets. This is a lot easier to do than the conventional 5 lbs bag of substrate.

What’s the thing with the pre filter? I am starting with cubensis but want to start soon with edibles but have to stick to lower budget teks

Mushrooms especially oyster produces lots of pollen. It could cause respiratory problems in sensitive individuals. Applying filters to the ventilation or connect to outside ventilation will help. Good luck and have fun.

Different ways to get the mycelium. From liquid culture which is available to purchase online or get a spore from the mushrooms. Good luck.
