You need to understand that you don’t know what has been happening behind the scenes. There has been much, much effort on the part of IHOP to get that third party investigation. It takes cooperation on BOTH sides, and other factors as well. In December they were VERY close to securing an investigation, but it fell through due to the third party backing out. After that, the advocate group released videos that broke the trust of IHOP leaders. This is NOT all on IHOPKC but there has been such a massive pressure campaign to make it seem as such. Did you know that the investigation that IHOP actually funded was indeed independent AND third party AND one of the choices OFFERED by Jane Doe #1’s lawyer? Yet when IHOP picked that investigator, Jane Doe’s lawyer REFUSED to cooperate. Thus IHOP was forced to have an incomplete investigation while still bearing the brunt of accusation of refusal to cooperate. Everyone is speaking out of their depth, including you, Vicki. You are forming opinions out of missing information and in turn you are joining the storm of wrongful discouragement against my community. IHOP is my church and my workplace. We now have to deal with a never ending wave of accusations like yours because people think they know things but they don’t. Please consider PRAYING for this instead of spreading misinformation and accusation against your own brothers and sisters.

@@holytothelord116THANK YOU for offering this clarifying info!!! 12-year Ihopper, here, and I’ve been astounded that current ihoppers aren’t chiming in more, and saying what SHOULD be obvious 🥺 The intense campaign to discredit and end ihop has been so hard to witness. And so many of my KC friends have been swept up into the kind of misinformed judgements as you have outlined. Such destruction. 😢

When secular outsiders come to investigate a house of God, the church is doomed. It makes me question your motives to even want such a thing. It reminds me of the old FBI adage of "show me the man and I will show you a crime." It won't stop until the church is in ruins. Either you have good faithful servants inside the church who are beholden to scripture and can navigate these troubled waters or you don't at this point.
