Growing potatoes in a barrel

8 жыл бұрынWe have loads of land but don’t have very good soil and don’t really fancy digging for potatoes so we are going to plant them in a barrel. This apparently gives a really good harvest of potatoes in a really confined space and with no digging!
We are building a passive solar homestead and planning a big permaculture food forest, mandala veggi garden, swimming pond and much more!

we didnthave much success but i think it comes down to we had a very dry winter and i didnt water it much... i woould have also put a lot more starter potatoes in there.
