Perfect for bonsai.They are a favorite of mine. I like the way the leaves would turn red orange in the fall,then drop in the fall and come.back in Spring.

How do you use the clippings to make additional plants?

They can be rooted although not easily. Cuttings are taken in early to mid-summer. They are somewhat slow to root and late cuttings don’t make it because of the winter rest period.
