Grew fabulous tobacco last year following your videos

Tobacco is beautiful. They make pink trumpet shaped flowers. Let them thin naturally. The strong survive. I have 3rd generation seeds. They just get cooler and stronger. Aphids love them, sadly, so spray with honey-water after they get big.

Thanks for the video. My seeds seemed to have germinated nicely. I have about 200 more plants than needed. Burley and Black Sea.

There’s ornamental tobacco too. I going to grow it around birdbath, your vids have helped with starting the seeds 👍

My seedlings are small too. Ornamental variety. I water them with a nozzle fogger - it's perfect!!

Mine just sprouted up thanks for the tips did everything you said. I just didn't use piss water lol thanks didn't want my dog pissing on my seedlings lol

Good thing we saved a bunch of those trays with clear plastic domes that can be taped down - unless we get some hurricane force winds all the seeds should be moist and happy

Hi. I'm on my second seedling trial. Both times seedlings sprouted and started growing ok initially. But after one or two weeks the leaves start whitening until eventually all seedlings die. The water pH in my area is quite high (7.5 - 8.5). Not sure if this could be a reason or maybe something else. Any ideas ?

I wonder if you will put the plastic on the seeds again? I started growing my seeds about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that they take their time.....

can you just use a pot to start the germination and keep that pot through out the whole growing process? and can you transplant the seedlings?

My Tennessee Burley Tobacco seed pack says start 4-6 weeks before last frost. Starting indoors of curse, to avoid the frost.

Glad to come across your videos. I have my tobacco sprouted but now I need to separate it and pot it up but I can't find a video on how to do that. Wondering if I just proceed as normal and will their roots withstand that transplant or do you have some other advice?

Ive got some burley tn90 sprouts that came up recently. Theyve been in a covered seed starting tray sitting in the sun. Kept wet, but they are starting to lose their vibrant green color. Should i take off the cover and water more often to keep damp and keep them in the sun, or bring them inside under a grow ligbt, I stupidly started them in 100% peat not thinking. Its ph neutral, but i hope that hasnt doomed them

I grew some tobacco years ago for a show garden, I recently started growing it and have some seedlings, growing in the corner of my living room for personnel use, sharing the love from my pet cannabis plant's grow lights... I have to ask... and you aren't bound to tell, which you may very well do in your book... Could you give me a suggestion for a couple of varieties that would blend together well for chewing tobacco as well as pipe tobacco? Total neophyte here with a saved link to a catalog True Leaf Market...which has a ton of seeds...and I'd love to not have to guess. Smoked for most of my life. Went the inhaler route and back to Grizzly.
