On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Imagine being a Navy crewman on board a cruiser, or destroyer, watching Tomcats get launched off the deck, coming back to make the most nerve wracking landing possible day in and day out... with all of the attention spent on how cool the planes are, and how awesome it must have been to pilot one back in the day, you almost forget sometimes that there are people back on those ships putting their lives in the hands of capable and competent pilots every day. Imagine going out there with the weight of that on the back of your mind. You launch off the deck leaving all of your friends behind taking for granted that it's just another sortie, and you'll come back in just a little while. Thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines from lowly privates to top brass... from people that handle food to munitions... You are their shield. You are their sword.

Your videos are more cinematic than many action movies I've seen. With a little story and voice acting, you can make your own movie. Imagine flying your Tomcat straight into an incoming wall of missiles as your missile alert is screaming at you from its sensory overload. That must be sweat inducing to be in that situation.

Could we get a video or short 2-3 video series with a modernized F5E? 'What could the F5 have become if it wasn't retired' kinda situation. Either the Swiss F5 (which I think they still use today) or an F5E that you yourself have given more hard points, a better radar, missiles, engines, and avionics like an HMD. I'd love to see how it would fair in an aggressor role and in a BVR situation. A "Bandit Unknown" kinda thing.
@crispy_338
@crispy_338 6 ай бұрын
The US has a private company that uses modernized F-5s that have 9X and HMD capability. If you’re looking for a “what if” situation then the F-20 Tigershark is where the design would’ve ended up eventually
@thesolstice_8122
@thesolstice_8122 6 ай бұрын
@@crispy_338 I know about the F-20 but I'm more interested in the Swiss F-5 really. The camo they use is real sleek on an already eye pleasing airframe. Although the F-20 is a wild concept with 1 engine that produces over 2x the amount of thrust the old dual engines put out. If you put two F-20's together, you'd get an F-18..
@RaderizDorret
@RaderizDorret 6 ай бұрын
We already know what an updated F-5 is. It's the F/A-18 family. The F/A-18 is pretty much a larger and more sophisticated F-5 , particularly when it comes to ease of maintenance (Engine swaps on both airframes takes about 20 minutes from start to finish, for example). Even the Super Hornet continues along that development line.
