I am always critical of the technical presentation of these shop gadgets but this fellow is spot on with this demonstration. No anxiou stuttering, false starts, and repeated words. He knows the tool inside and out and can walk and chew gum (and run the gadget) at the same time. Very well done. Those anticipating doing their own technical KZfaq Videos need to sit at this fellow's knee and learn a few things.

I was able to use my Microjig Avanced for the first time today on my table saw after watching this awesome video, and the level of control compared to using a push stick is night and day, anxiety levels dropped dramatically, too. Fantastic product, I'm ordering a second for longer pieces. And thanks for the video, super helpful on multiple levels and the host did a great job. Just got a router table, too, so seeing this in use on that made my day.

As others have said this is an awesome video and a great help to setting up the Grr-ripper and its accessories, far better than for me, than trying to follow instructions in a printed manual. The practical demonstrations create an appreciation of the Grr-ripper and its widespread potential use in the workshop. For me these explanations go a long way in justifying the cost of the Grr-ripper as you can begin to see how to use it to make work easier and safer across a number of woodwork machines. So many thanks to MicroJig for providing a brilliant educational video which I trust is a reflection of high quality customer service I can expect.

I just got done putting my -100 and complete kits together. The packaging alone impressed me…the color codes for the bags, the fact that you gave us an extra washer for each type and that its soo easy to assemble. I love the o-rings…excellent idea and very helpful. I love you guys and Im so glad I bought these products. Thank you for your detail and thoughtfulness. Well done video, compliments the instructions that were with the product. I am looking forward to a lifetime of table saw, router & joiner safety. The price was reasonable. Assembly of the grr-ripper was somewhat difficult with 9 fingers & 1 thumb.

Awesome video. As someone just starting out, I wanted to watch as many videos on table saw safety as possible and the kickback vids started making me think twice about getting one. Seems to me this would be a no brainer and Im deff going to pick up a couple. Again, as someone just starting out, I have no idea if these are overpriced or not. After all I spent on my tools, to spend a couple hundred on protecting my fingers from getting chopped off doesn't seem bad. Going to start out with just two of them and hopefully the more I learn, I can find use for the accessories. Would like to make sure I need them first.

I love this tool, it does more than what a feather board and a push stick can provide. Had no problem putting this together. Agree it’s not cheap but for me it was worth the money. I purchased the 100 model.

Got my Grr-Ripper Professional 3D Push Block System Advanced - GR200 today from Rutland's while they had it on offer & followed the assembly guide here! Very straight forward & even without using it i can tell its going to make life easier & safer using the table saw & band saw. Genius!! Just checked rutland's prices & glad i jumped on it & saved £20!! Wow!!

This was very informative as a new woodworker (ran the table saw for the first time today) I am very happy to have one of these. Truth be told I ran the saw and did not feel safe. Remembered your product and went out and bought it.

Newbie here to the table saw, was afraid of it. Just received two grippers and it is amazingly simple and I can keep pressure on the rail with little effort. Really love this product!

About to start my woodworking journey and bought two last year....spring is right around the corner. Loved how informational this video was, thank you! I will definitely be coming back to it countless times to check how to use it until I'm well versed in all its functions. I dont own a bandsaw but wondered how you pushed it with one across...best for two with that I'd imagine?

Very good demo and well made product. I recently bought 2 and still learning best techniques. I'm finding it a little more difficult to accurately control longer stock than what I expected. Even while using kiln dried poplar without knots. Long half inch or less cuts 12" in length or more do not easily stay tight against the fence using the leap frog technique. Too much side pressure causes flex in fence on the average table saw. This isn't the microjig fault but unless you own a commercial saw you may have to clamp your fence down. Definitely a thumbs up for small stock.

Ben, if you are flexing the fence it is either: pretty poorly designed (typical for consumer products), or being improperly used.. - back-it-up with some steel angle ( or aluminium angle if easier) to stop it flexing... ( that is a metalwork job for you)

One of the legs has a chunk of the green grip material missing from one of the corners and I want to know if it's still safe to use. I sent them a photo and product is meant to be new.

Great presentation. I have a Grrripper and the only downside is that you cant use featherboards with it. I'm aware the tool can provide pressure against the fence but a featherboard is my preference.

Lol I didn't notice that, but I did notice that it looks like something hit him in the nose at some point. No red mark on his nose at the beginning of the video. At about 14 minutes in I noticed it. Doesn't look like its in the right spot to just be a red mark from his safety glasses either.

I just bought a gripper 200. Haven't tried it yet but it's a good thing I seen this video. I might just get a second one for longer work pieces. That's why I bought it in the first place. Cutting 9/16 th by 1/2 inch strips. Good video to learn from. Had some problems with the O rings but all in all its a great item to have.

Robert, cutting long narrow strips is what the GRR-RIPPER excels at. And once you get used to using it, the process becomes much less stressful and more enjoyable. The o-rings do require a bit if fuss during assembly, but they keep the hardware on the parts even when not being used, so they repay the effort every time you use your GRR-RIPPERs.

So here in Dubai it is very hard to find these high quality tools, I found the gribber on amazon.ae (was more expensive as expected) and after few months of thinking if I need it or not then I ordered one and Holly cow my work quality touched the sky never thought such a thing can improve my woodworking

I see a lot of comments complaining about the price. And I get it. We all (me included) don't have unlimited funds. Honestly though, if this is the safest way to use a table saw, is it really that expensive when it will last forever and significantly decreases your chance of getting hurt? I don't have a table saw yet but when I get one, I will be getting this product. The price is worth it to save my digits and perhaps more.

He is wrong in saying if you have material higher that 3or 4 inches you have to use a bandsaw bullshit if the material is 7 or 8 inches you can turn the material over and run it through the table saw!!

Five days ago I came across this video on the microjig GRR-RIPPER.I was impressed by the video and figured that this is the best insurance to keep all my fingers. I immediately contacted my supplier here in Australia and YES the GRR-RIPPER was available. I ordered two GRR-RIPPERS and they arrived today. I have a pair of GRR-RIPPERS, and also a Shark-Guard blade guard. The GRR-RIPPERS are cute, although without much gripping power, but I feel like dust collection and my lungs, are more of an immediate need, so they don't get used much. I wish there was a feature where you could use the G-R's along with a blade guard. Maybe something that would ride on my Biesmeyer fence with a piece that would go down the blade-side of the fence and push the wood.

Using two grippers each side of the band saw blade seems you’re pushing both grippers toward each other as you feed the stock it would pinch the blade??

Just got the GR-200 with the 1/8th add-on. Used it tonight to cut down 1 inch rough stock to 3/4. Really easy and even more importantly extremely safe with the Grripper. In the short time I’ve been woodworking, I’ve come across useful tools, jigs and techniques to improve quality and safety. This is easily the best tool I’ve bought that improves both. Fantastic invention. I also got the match fit dovetail clamps and will be building a tabletop with dovetail tracks. Another great invention that will make a number of things easier to do. In my opinion, this is one of the most innovative companies in woodworking today.

Loved my 200. Haven’t had it for long and the threaded inserts are coming out in the body and one of the legs. Never filled out the warranty card 🤦🏽♂️.

We are sorry you feel this way. Pre-assembling the GRR-RIPPER would make it cost more, and the box would also need to be larger using more resources to store and ship. Even Large, far more expensive tools (like table saws) require assembly. Also, by assembling your GRR-RIPPER, you have a better understanding of how it goes together than how it works.

Nice products but $60-$80 for a bunch of molded plastic parts can’t you assemble these as finished units and put them in a box so the consumer doesn’t have to do it?

Fantastic video. However, I was hoping to see the use of the gripper with irregularly shaped stock on the tablesaw as well as resawing stock as those are the things that really make me nervous.

This shows the GR-200 which has the Stabilizing Plate: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sM2BgM2VtN2toX0.html As far as irregular shaped stock, if the stock is flat but not rectangular, the GRR-RIPPER can ride the fence to provide a straight edge.
