This is much more true in Brood War though lol. That game has some actual serious race imbalance.

And yet you can watch a Clem stream and your head will hurt. Top SC2 players are something else. But I like watching Grubby. He's actually "readable" while still being very skilled.

Heres my super expert verified opinion: The game - there hasn't been any patches in a year by now. It's abandoned like reforged. Considering the race I agree with Grubby: On the very top terran has the advantage because of fire power and multitasking. However lesser players struggle because terran has most brittle units and has to multitask while having to do most macro clicks early in game(mules on cd, addon swapping, micro scvs back from buildings etc). On mid-top level zerg has the advantage because its easiest to macro (allunits and supply come from hatchries instead of 10-12 buildings of 3-4 different types). And you can get away with extra round of drones because mid tier opponents builds arent sharp enough to punish. On bottom-top level protoss is preferred because it can be played defensively and its very intuitive and comfortable gameplay. However to get to top you have to play out of that comfort and mix a lot of builds.

@@ArcaniS961 imho, non-pros should not be concerned about balance. Play whatever race you like (or switch into the race you hate) :) Not sure what do you mean by elites? Top players?

@@sergeyk9060 elites are the pros, the players who compete at the highest level.

@@ArcaniS961 there are tiers between pros. As grubby said, the very top is terran favored (but only Maru can do that), mid level (most pros) is heavily zerg favoured. And bottom pros and semi-pros have most fun and success with protoss.
