The spell immunity is quite often talking about damage. Other effects of spells that don't pierce spell immunity are still often felt. Like Venomancer ulti applies the debuff, but there is no damage during immunity. Much like Pudge ultimate as well. There is no damage, but the disable is still there. This is especially true for a lot of the ultimate abilities... It is just something you will learn in the long run. Nice that you are still at it Grubby! Love your takes on heroes and play...

I love the 2k mmr chat losing they're minds that he doesn't just push r on cd.

One thing thats important to learn with Veno is that solo ults are fine until late game teamfights, and even then are fine on high priority targets you need to confirm. Aghs level 3 does more than 100% damage so combined with other poisons and spirit vessel its a nearly guaranteed kill if you keep out of fountain. Also T2 glyph is fine because the first tower of each tier lost refreshes glyph.

Fun fact for ability draft: Poison sting does work on shadow shaman's serpent wards.

Venomancer is, *"Snakes on a lane"* "Enough is enough! I have had it with this mekansm falcon-blade snakes, on this mekansm falcon-blade lane!"

It's so obvious the reasoning behind Grubby's "I gotta farm the empty lanes" no matter what hero he plays. It's coming from HotS where xp is shared between team so you had to farm all the lanes to get quick levels. However this is not HotS. Veno is a very strong teamfight hero. You are not a fast farmer. You farm by getting hero kills/assists, and you get more benefits if you build vessel which means you are gearing for fights anyway. And when you win a teamfight, you have the necessary tools to push towers with plague wards giving vision on possible tp locations. If you go waste time farming items as Veno,by the time you are getting those items the enemy gets BKB and your items are useless all the sudden. You have to kill them and pressure them to delay their BKB and steal their farm instead of stealing from your own carry. He just watched top level Veno match where they destroyed t3 on 20mins thanks to Veno. I don't understand why he is so consistently forsaking his team when he is the strongest and gets lost in farming items no matter which hero he plays.

Way too much farming that you are taking away from position 2 or 1 . Medusa can clear creep at a much efficient rate, Veno would of been more useful engaging in team fight when ever ult is down. Or pushing towers with snake wards. When you had 5 at bottom . Pushing as 5 with snake wards to get bottom tower would be been a good play , instead of roaming to mid, than all the way to top.

Veno needs time to do his work. So instead of bkb i prefer to use items that stall for time like disk, euls, ghostscepter after getting my core items. Also too much farming and less rotating.

you need to fix your camera placement in the laning phace, you can't see what's happening with your enemies since your camera's centered on you hero Generally, you want to put your hero somewhat on the edge of your screen to see more of the lane, you don't need to see behind you
