Hello, Grubby! The last game I played against HU, I went FS, hh, then TC, shams (later) against AM and 10 footies. Took advantage at early game but he went 2 gryphons e 2 knights (pala 2nd) and won the game. What should I have done in order to counter it? Thanks anyways.

It would be nice if Grubster made a micro guide for noob to average players. A lot of people quit PC games all together and only play console because they find controlling units with a keyboard awkward. I am a significantly above average player, and yet I usally get 4-5 control groups when I play even when I have a large army because with my thick and heavy fingers I find it difficult to micro units individually and I cannot control more than about 4 control groups plus 2-3 heroes without getting worse results than I would with more. I could never do what Happy or TH do of having individual units as whole control groups for up to 10-12 CG in a game. That is insane, and I feel like you need to have fingers as thin, long and light as that of Grubby or Happy to even consider this. For most people, this is just not mechanically possible no matter how much you practice. I usually micro my heroes, I put all melee units in a control group, then heroes + melee in another, casters in another, workers in another, and if I have tier 3 units those go in another. I find it mechanically difficult to control more than that. That is good enough to beat more than 80% of ladde players, but that doesn't mean much since most ladder players are average. I feel like there are some strategically very strong players that never reach the top because they can't reach pro level micro. They used to allow sticky keys in the old WC3, which made it easier, but now that is gone.

why would you explain this for beginners with hotkeys like g for grunts?? When you are not already used to it, go ahead and get a QWER customkeys.txt and make your life much easier witout getting a strain in your hand
