I feel this, and I am the same exact way. I constantly dodge potentially meeting up with new girls for coffee or to talk and hang out because they either take my words and twist them and make up rumors about me or pretend that they really care about me at the beginning, but once they get to know me betray me. From what my dad says having just a few really close friends is better than just having a bunch even if at times, it can seem lonely since were young, and want to do stuff!

MILLION %% feel this video. Had an extremely close friend, who I knew for a long time was a toxic relationship really really be shady. She was competitive with me over literally everything. She would DIG at me about drama or my issues with others and then go straight to that person and tell them ‘I talk shit about them’. She would lie to me about things she was doing, and then hid me on her IG stories so I wouldn’t find out her lies. BIZARRE. I tried to go over to her house to talk about what was going on - she physically tried to fight me. Then she told everyone in our friend group who knows what story - and NONE of them ever talked to me again. They have NO IDEA the truth of what even happened or all the things I know that she did TO THEM or said about them! I figure that none of those friendships are genuine and so I just stayed quiet and let them all go. I’m also a Taurus and so I’m extremely LOYAL so this betrail was painful but a year later I’m so glad to be free of such a BAD friend. Even if I did love her, she was a terrible terrible friend to me AND her other friends (they just don’t know yet). 🦋 I’ve learned boundaries, self worth, and to be selective about who I let close to me. 2023 will be open to NEW friendships!!! ☺️🫶🏼

This is so much giving Gemini energy! just because typically, Gemini are the one who are often times or always being misunderstood with friendships. I had a fair share of these type of "friends" since high school days up to the present and are really shallow to always misinterpret friendship as flirting and you always get to feel bad about something you're not even meant to feel bad about. and then comes the guessing game where you are being blamed for just being naturally friendly kind of person. and as you grow up, you get to know and see both the green and the red flags of "friendship". I'm 23 and I have been a people pleaser for far too long to keep so called friends around. Now that I'm about to be a single mother and life can be so damn hard.. I've seen true colours of people I considered my friends, I just removed myself completely and guess what!?! Being alone can be lonely but stress free ☺️

I had such a long friendship for like 10 years and it got sooooooo bad bc she was so horrible and communicating but I’d be able to feel her energy shift. The moments where I would bring up something I thought that was wrong or bad of her… she’d gaslight me LOL so essentially I also couldn’t talk to her. I ended up ghosting her because it was such a dead end and so pointless to communicate w someone who is so selfish and like a brick a wall. It also got to a point where she stopped supporting me and cheering for my wins.. even when she was like that to me.. I was still her biggest cheerleader. I thought it was help her see that u can cheer for other people & it won’t dim your light. But it wasn’t connecting for her lol So I made the connection that she was jealous of me. & maybe even secretly didn’t like me. Once I finally let her go, my life IMMEDIATELY felt more lifted and high vibrational. I’m 29 now (I ended the friendship only 5 months ago) and her and I met in 8th grade so the only thing tying us together was “time” & me convincing myself she had to stay in my life bc it’s been so long. DONT LET THAT CLOCK FOOL YOU LADIES… I learned my lesson lol

I’m so grateful for this video, friendship is not talked about often here on YT so thank you, I’ve experienced almost everything you talked about and it’s honestly so upsetting that everytime i find someone who i think is a good friend they end up deceiving me … but just like you said, it’s a lesson and it teaches you to be more selective in the future and to see and recognize the red flags much faster

Always afraid to share these thoughts for fear that other girls (typically the insecure ones you’re talking about) will shit on me and say I’m a pick me or something mean. I would love to believe that every woman is a girl’s girl but the reality is that they’re not, and you HAVE to have a high level of discernment around who you keep in your inner circle. girls are nice to you at first because they’ve probably never seen anything like you in real life before; I learned that lots of people are exposed to what we call IG baddies online. but rarely ever in real life. they’re weird to you later on because you’re really pretty & qualify as having the full package and that’s hard for anyone who deals with insecurities to be around. Which most of us are still insecure so they start beings weird. I wish someone told me this a couple years ago

Normally, when they want you to read their mind, there’s some thing probably underneath it all. That’s the real issue that they just let build up and they don’t know how to approach it. That’s at least what I learned, sorry to hear about that, but just know that if they can’t communicate with you, I’m sure how they’re feeling and just leave the friendship you don’t need people like that in your life anyways!

Iv noticed a big change in humanity and behaviours since the pandemic. It’s a bit sad. People communicate differently, humans don’t want to help each other out as much, take things too seriously and social media has made us think that we are as individuals are SO important but in reality we are wanting the same things in life and hopefully I hope the world will get back to love and peace.

@@Genelle I understand where you’re coming from. To be honest having female friends was so difficult for me too even to this day. The girls at school were just horrible and made everything a competition. Who was prettier, richer got better grades etc. it affected me and how I deal with my colleagues at work now. I don’t share much and when I do I get really worried. So I have to remind myself not to care about what they think of me as long as I was being myself & honest. After school I only kept my relationship with 2 bestfriends who I trust with my life. I appreciate you being real and sharing even though it was hard. You’re relatable and outspoken and I love that about you. Much love girl xx

Everytime I had girlfriends I use to think they were the best and soo loving just to find out they would talk about me and one of them told Me to fall on my face to turn ugly… I’m not trying to sound upp myself or anything but I’ve had a lot of friends who I thought were amazing but they were just jealous and wanted to be me lol, one of them had blonde hair and she dyed her hair Jett black like mine and got extensions and said to call her my name… 😂 Basically now I have a daughter and a beautiful family and I keep my circle small because I cannot be bothered with the high school drama I’m too old for that $hit lol

Honestly girl…I am 100% sure that your past girlfriends where just jealous of you because you are beautiful and guys are obviously attracted to you! They were insecure of themselves and needed to put you down in order to feel better. I was jealous of one of my friends because she is gorgeous and she always got lots of attention, so I felt kinda bad when we went out together/at parties, whatever…because I knew nobody would have paid attention to me…but I was 15😂 a kid. Never stopped being friends with her because I soon realised it was not her fault to be that beautiful! The right person will love you even with other beautiful people around you, period!

The problem isn’t that you’ll steal their man, the problem is that their boyfriends and male friends LIKE you and the girls can SEE that. They know that these guys aren’t your type and they may not even be their type, but once they start hearing that guys like YOU, they want attention too. I’ve had friends who’s brothers liked me and boyfriends checked me out. It’s not you. It’s the men in their lives who they don’t trust! From the way you’re describing your situation, you treat men like normal humans. They may find this attractive because you’re laid back and don’t seem pretentious or conscious. Because you treat them normally it means that you don’t think they’re that special. But the girls you’re describing, do consider guys to be special. They NEED male attention but don’t get it. That’s why it doesn’t matter to them that you don’t like these guys. The only female friendships that work, are those of equals in every sense. Intelligence, income, lifestyle, family environment AND equal attention from guys. I don’t care what anyone says, a girl who doesn’t get male attention from eligible bachelors, WILL be jealous and sabotage you. This is irrespective of her relationship status. Girls with boyfriends and husbands, get jealous of girls who are liked by eligible bachelors. This is irrespective of their age or how long they they’ve been married. It’s weird as hell but reality.

19:00 onwards, I can relate to so hard, I had a really good friend who would go through crazy life changes but never speak up about it or update me and then was like 'you didnt ask about this and it hurt me'. If you speak to me about something you're going through and I care for you I support you 100% but I cannot guess your life nor will I always remember to, becuase I have shit going on that you don't ask me about either. DAMN 🫥😂 I thought I was over that clearly not 😮💨
