NCERT is more than T.N Board books...we see ancient and medical are 2 seperate books but T.N Board books have a single book for both....T.N can be a smart work....looking at cost benefit. Also looking at NCERT for wholesome syllabus in a sense of having deeper dive...

The main thing to start from anywhere is to first view syllabus and then match it with book content so that you may know what has to be read and what is not read. Mark my word if you are syllabus and question paper stricken even god cannot stop you from selection.
