I was real hesitate to buy this gun seeing all the bad reviews online with the exception of a few good ones. I rolled the dice and bought one with the 110 drum and so far so good ! Got lucky I guess great firearm

So it's funny that this comes with a 10 round magazine in new Zealand, because i just bought this rifle in the u.s and it came with two 22rounds magazines and a 100 round drum magazine .

My chum has a gsg15, he's debating on a gsg16, the mags look exact same.. are they swappable? Especially the expensive 100rd rotary drum mag.

Hi Russell, the mags are slightly different. The 16 magazine is more slender, so it wont fit with the 15 without an adapter - JK
