Great gun! I'm looking to buy that exact model just so I can have a 1911 style gun. A few things I will say. The most important thing when handling firearms is safety. You have to be able to recite the 4 rules of firearms safety in your sleep if you plan to handle / carry guns every day. Regarding the things you said in the video: 1, don't dry fire a .22lr gun without the correct snap cap unless the manual / manufacturer says you can. Most .22lr guns can be easily damaged by dry firing. Some you can dry fire, but most will damage the firing pin. 2, if you live in a state where you can legally buy / own a suppressor, get one! If it legal and you can afford it, that is a lot of fun! 3, get some training from a reputable place. Most shooting ranges will have someone there and they may be good, and they may be terrible. So seek out a really good one. Good training is so important. 4, If you want to get a gun to carry, get the biggest gun you can comfortably conceal. Everyone thinks getting a tiny gun so you can easily conceal it is the way to go, and if that means you will carry it every day, then do that, but small guns in big calibers are not fun to shoot. The bigger the gun the less recoil you will feel. See if you can rent a few guns in 9mm at your local shooting range, or from whatever place you are training at to use in class. I carry a Glock 19 with a SRO in a T1C in an Axis Elite holster. I'm not a big guy, but I can easily carry and conceal that with no problem. Everyone is different. This stuff is so expensive, so try and find someone or some place where you can try before you buy. If you live in LA, I'll let you try my stuff. Good luck!
