Highest armor-piercing capacity, record-low weight and large number of rounds.
The 9mm GSh-18 pistol is designed for close combat. A high power cartridge and a high capacity double-column magazine, which doesn’t shuffle cartridges, make the pistol reliable and effective.
An automatic safety catch ensures safety coupled with a high level of fire readiness. The pistol may be fitted with a laser designator.
The 9x19mm pistol cartridge (7N31) with armor-piercing bullet makes the pistol effective against body-armored personnel (wearing armor vests)

I wish we could get these in the US, I’ve wanted one for years. This is one of my favorite pistol designs.

Yes, the actual Russian pistol made in Russia as ^above^ in vid (like my Molot ak), [not some rehashed version...such as 'strike one' by arsenal arms which is basically a new lower barrel axis glock].

It looks like a backyard project. You can get better quality in the US that makes this GSH look like a joke. Please reconsider.

I waited long to say it many models were close many models came many models went but this is the true ak of pistols that lugged barrel in combination with a substantial mag size and the performance of the 7n cartridges topped of with russian reliability and realistic pricing this thing will go down in history as one of the best handguns ever made

the pistol is not armor piercing, the bullets are. It is chambered in 9mm like most of the other pistols.

@@user-ps4ld6ks1c "Cartridge: 9×19mm Parabellum" straight from wikipedia. The video talks about 7n31 which is a 9x19mm cartridge, any +p rated 9mm pistol can shoot that. I dont understand russian so maybe I didnt get your point.

Может. Российское оружие выполняют из одних и тех же компонентов что и боевое или спортивное, маркетинг на рынке вооружения РФ не работает😊

more polymer, less slide by having a stronger lockup with multi lugged barrel. this is def. a step up. It's hard to guage muzzle flip without actually shooting it. At least the female in other video that limp wristed it, despite double handed grip, still didn't have a FTF, FTE, or any other anomalies. Looks like Steyr lineage in the body.

Конструкция ГШ 18 , такова что при выстреле вся грязь и мусор вылетают наружу ... Это пистолет для выживания он прошëл самые жëсткие испытания... 🤠

This gun would be worth aproximately $260 bucks in the US BASED on what the currency of it was worth in 2012 so that just tells me though it may take heavy duty cartridges it may be a junk pistol Im not saying it is im just saying it might be but considering the russian military supposedly still uses it today then it must be something good.

Just looked it up again, compared to its russian currency price it would actually be worth around $227 american money so its actually cheaper than i thought, doesnt mean its a bad pistol, its just cheap when compared to the american market, doesnt mean thats what retailers would sell it for. They usually sell guns for more than what theyre worth so they can make a profit like any business.

Grip texture looks useless. Look at the metal on the slide under the muzzle. Warping or casting mistake. Slide doesnt look coated. They need to come up to 2022 standards. And for the love of all things sacred, out some fuckin oil on it.
