@yrrahyrrah I can't explain why he didn't finish Hardy beyond pity but when St. Pierre feels the need to destroy an opponent, he knows how to pour on an asswhooping. He destroyed Matt Hughes in their third fight, Serra in their second fight, and Penn in their second fight. There was no lay and pray against them and they arguably represented the greatest threats to him at their time. He knocked down Fitch, Hieron, and put Hughes away. The dude is strong.

Greeting MMA world. Here's my prediction on this fight..I'd bet money that this fight is going to decision. If it doesn't go to decision that means Josh Koshcheck won. Most likely decision and it will probably be a boring fight since neither of these guys are real finishers and most their fight s are boring. Having said that I think they are both pound for pound world class and top 10 for sure and I like them both. Yes even koshceck...I can't help but like the guy..deep down he's good.

@ninjion So how many KO's does GSP have? I can't think of more than the Hughes head kick. I'd give Kos the advantage standing. Koscheck is also the better wrestler (yes, he underestimated GSP's wrestling in their first fight), so he should be able to keep this fight standing. This is MMA though, so GSP could very well take him down.. But I think that's GSP's best chace. Take him down and Jake Shield his ass. Kos on the other hand - to destroy GSP - has to motorboat his ass :D

GSP usually finishes the guys who talk alot of crap about him. Just look at BJ penn, Matt Hughes, Matt Serra, and Jon Fitch didn't talk crap at all and GSP destroyed him over the 5 rounds of action, the only reason he wasn't finished was because of his iron jaw. I think Koscheck has a chance at beating GSP, but it's a longshot, his striking is alot less technical and more wide haymakers and who knows about the wrestling dept. I say GSP will finish him in the championship rounds.

@ninjion Hmm.. I don't know... Elusive and GSP don't really match in my opinion. GSP seems a bit stiff in his standup. Kos seems to have the "striking genes" - at least more so than GSP. Some guys just can't get there no matter how much they've trained. Guys like GSP, Matt Hughes, Brock Lesnar, Jon Fitch, Chael Sonnen (aka Mr. Stereoid) can never get that top level striking due to their body types, muscle placement, bone structure etc.. I think.

It is not a matter of will Josh lose, it is who he will blame for getting this ass handed to him on a plate of back bacon. Whatever his excuse, I just hope he tries to talk tough, it almost makes me laugh. When he talks about beating GSP and tries to be serious about it, I can't help but laugh and think, poor kid, he actually thinks he has a chance.
