Excellent video for us GT350 owners. I actually have your oil filter funnel and it works fantastic. Thanks for making this as it’s something to watch as a reference to the whole oil change process on these cars. Really well done. 👍🏻

You can do the oil plug by hand. Just changed my oil last weekend.

Thanks. Yeah, I’ve had it stuck once before where I couldn’t turn it by hand, so now I automatically take a ratchet with me when I crawl under the car.

@@pilotgore I would definitely keep my eye on that plug being that the pan and plug are plastic . if it was stuck that means someone over tightened it might mean your pan or plug is compromised. I have seen it before on others people's gt350s not good 😐 great video though and have a wonderful day

Rather than using paper towels for the few drips, consider using doggy potty pads (Your wife won't miss one). They are absorbent with plastic covering. Fold it up and you can reuse it.

I know you said you could use the FL2062 oil filter on the 2020 - GT 500 does it have the medal basket on the inside of the 2062 filter like the 2087 has? In your opinion would you use the 2062 or fl2087

The 2087 is a better filter in my opinion because it has the metal mesh inside the filter, where the 2062 has plastic. I think both are absolutely fine, but the 2087 is better.

Hey there. Are you Rolling the dice with that oil filter? The 2062 doesn’t have the metal core that the 2087 does. Also. The 2087 is now unavailable. Sucks. Cheers bud

Yeah, the 2062 works perfectly fine when installed correctly, especially since I change my oil 7’ish times a year after only 500 miles or so. I have one more 2062 on the shelf and 2x 2087’s ready to go. Cheers

I ended up here because when I purchased my new GT350R, it came with your 3D printed funnel and the oil flow piece! Awesome tools that will really be a big help. Thanks for the helpful video!
