Nice video Phil! I’m gonna miss the GT350 videos but excited to see what’s next. You’re spot on regarding the car market. It’s kinda depressing for an enthusiast looking for affordable cars. Saw dealers charging 20k over stick for the new Z. Looked at the new Civic Si at a local dealer and they want 10k over and it’s not even the type R. It’s ridiculous at this point.

40,000 miles never replaced and never leaked on my 2018 f150 with 3.5 eco boost. Love the drain plug!

I use a form a funnel for my oil changes on my 35OR. No need to take the tire off either lol. Works perfectly every time

Don’t sell - you will regret it 😎 But you think like I do. We had an AMG engineer with us on a Tail of Dragon trip and he brought a GT with him. Totally get your comments and agree. Engineer loved 350 and was amazed that Ford ever built such a car.

Get a Fumoto oil valve, they're great and little to no mess.

I ended up with a 19 350R in performance Blue with white stripes. I use some of your products. The telescoping mop is a back saver! Sad to see it go but curious what you end up picking next!

It’s a keeper for sure, I traded in a 2019 gt3rs for a 2019 350 non R with 700 miles. In many ways, it’s much better driving experience with the manual transmission, couldn’t tell you another car out there that would replicate this short of a 992 GT3 touring (manual) but those are still going for north of 300k.

Gotta say, that's sad to hear. I don't think I could ever sell mine. But if I had to, I think the only thing I might replace it with would be a 997 GT3 RS or maybe a Viper ACR.

I'd like to see you use the access panel for the oil filter instead of taking the friggin wheel off!

Aston Martin vantage. Very well trimmed,l and build quality is decent. They are not selling well so many on the market. Still has that twin turbo amg v8. Never driven the AMR manual version but I’m sure that’s the one to have

I’d say go for something you can heavily modify, would be great for the channel to see the process from start to finish.

coming myself from a GT350R and into a GT500 CFTP, i'd say get a CFTP. price/power/performance value is hard to beat. and if you can get a '22 MY, it's the last year.

What do you clean the inside of the front wheels? I bought a 19 350R and it seems to the previous owner never cleaned the inside of the front wheels.

Funny you should post this video. I also own a 2019 GT350R and will probably sell it soon. It's a great car and I'm sure I'll miss it but I would really like to try something new, maybe a Porsche Cayman GT4. Best of luck with your next car!

They are suppose to be making a manual Supra? Kinda similar to the new Z in my mind, good “mid priced” manual legends I have a C7 GS and the only car (other than another C7/C6 Z) would be a newer gen Viper They seemed to have better interiors and just seem to be a fun rowdy car - but there’s the pricy problem with them now. Believe most recent gens are $150,000+ with ACR models going 200-300k

A lot of people will reject the idea but I think boosting your 350 would be amazing. I’ve been through many iterations on my 350 (Stock, minor bolt ons, and now boosted) I think with moderate boost, not excessive, adds such an emotionally pleasing element to this already perfect car. Now for sole track enthusiasts maybe not the way to go. But for the average street guy I believe it’s a must. Just my opinion. I think with your meticulous nature it would be an excellent quantity of good quality content watching you go through a nice build on the 350. Best of luck! Final notes. I did go into pretty extensive work with mine (built motor, fuel system, clutch, etc) The voodoo out of the box wasn’t equipped to handle what I intended to throw at it. But based off what I have seen with others staying under 10lbs of boost have had excellent results maintaining a healthy motor and have gotten a quite reliable set up. Maybe it’s not for you. To each their own. Just thought I’d throw it out there.

I know this might feel like a downgrade but maybe a GR86/BRZ? Lightweight, easy to tinker with if needed, and consumables are inexpensive. If not then the BMW M2CS/ Porsche Cayman can be good options as well.

I had a GT350 and jump to a McLaren 12C, not sure if you've driven any just yet but maybe a 650s will work for you. YMMV but after a little over 1 year of ownership mechanically reliable.

Given the current car market conditions, the price point, and the fact you have the Giulia Quadrifoglio, it's nearly impossible to replace the 350R. Maybe sit on the cash for a while until something comes up.

I don’t know Phil I’m sure those plastic drain plugs have been proven but I haven’t been happy with Ford lately you know my uncle bought a 2019 navigator that things like 100k in price, they’re having cam phaser issues on the eco-boost 3.5 it seems like the owners are the R&D for Ford I don’t know..

Hey buddy..... gt350 is a car to keep forever. To swap mine to something thing affordable definitely will be a 997 gt3rs. Because a think that the gt3 rs is the only car to give the same feeling than the gt350. Otherwise I would keep the gt350 forever.

Still can’t believe you sold it

I know this is late, but I think a competitor for a GT350 would’ve been the OG M2. It sounds a lot better than the S55, but still burbles; it just doesn’t sound artificial. The N55 actually felt like it had some sort of soul, compared to something like the B58 or S55, though I can’t describe in words how. Another aspect was balance, it was a perfect 50/50 and when given the chance to drive an Giulia QV it actually eerily similar; they both want to kill you, but the M2 felt more like a race car whereas the Alfa felt more, classic Italian. Power is one downside, but with Stage 2 & FBO I was pushing 450hp; no issues with reliability for my 3 year time, especially since it’s an N55. Steering felt better than the GT350 from my experience, as it felt so responsive and so confidence inspiring. Put that along a DCT or manual and it’s the perfect go-kart. I sold my M2 when the car market was at its peak and have an E92 M3 DCT. The steering is amazing and the S65 is godly, but now I’m debating on either getting the Alfa QV for that Ferrari Engine & Practicality, or a GT350 for that Voodoo & Trans. The QV feels like my OGM2 The GT350 feels like my E92 M3

You should probably keep this car. No one is going to maintain a vehicle as well as you. I have PPF on the front of my 2020 GT500 that I purchased new but it still has rock chips. It breaks my heart. Personally my Shelby is keeper. Most people that own a GT350(R)s keep them.

I hope you don't sell it. I think you should at least do a driver seat swap before you decide to sell it. You've always talked about it, and I would love it if you did. The recaro's suck for my back issues.

Easy. ZL1/1LE Manual. They barely made 3900 units over a 4 year run. Nurburgring legend that was faster than any Ferrari till very recently.

If you can afford it keep it and get something else. I have a 350r and I want something new but I can't see this driving away from me. So I'm saving for a c7z06 or a 2019 Cadillac ctsv.

If you believe ford won’t make cars like the 350 ever again, then why get rid of it? It’s already a classic that will be worth way more money in the future. Unless someone gives you an offer you can’t say no to, I say keep it. You’re a mustang guy at heart, why not hold on to the best one ford ever made. But, for your next car regardless of what you do with the 350, I’d say gt4rs should be on your radar.
