To unlock these missions you need to complete the VIP Contracts at Franklin's Agency (Dr. Dre's storyline) and wait for a second call from Franklin after about 1 or 2 in-real-life hours.

Its about time they made a dlc that isn't just some basic cash grab. This is a love letter to the story mode and those who liked it. Finally rockstar did something good with gta online.

Plus it wouldn't be possible to do so since online is 8 years in the future while single player is still in 2013 so it wouldn't really look right if it was in single player. Look these are bonus missions to the contract dlc which wouldn't work right if the bonus missions were in single player.

@@cheddarman3619 well we do know the dlc itself is partially a cash grab. I didn't say it wasn't a cash grab at all. I said it wasn't just a basic cash grab. Im worry i wasn't specific. I meant the dlc missions were a love letter. Not stuff like the 2 million dollar dodge charger or the 5+ million dollar supercars in the dlc. Is that a bit better? Obviously they can't make money off a single player dlc since the only way they make money is off of those shark cards. So it wouldn't work if it was single player. You also have to factor in the building changes in online compared to single player. For example online has a way more detailed casino compared to the basic looking casino in single which uses the old version of the casino. This dlc includes buildings that im pretty sure uses a different building model.

If R* make more missions, playing again with memorable GTA characters like Franklin, Michael, Trevor and now Lamar in the Online, I'll definitely play the Online finally for the first time, no matter its toxicity nowadays. The only thing that I cared about GTA games its the story and character development. Never because of the countless customizable cars that you can get, nor the new weapons and clothings added, nor the apartments or luxury Vinewood houses, nor in the countless business and properties that you can buy either in the Online exclusively.

Trevor has his own content in online All tho small it's in the series A set of oringal heists and my 2nd point it's unlikely Micheal will get dlc due to to story mod references and logic such as Micheal referring to being "officaly reatirded" in both option c and a (I think.) Not to mention Micheal is probably in his late 50s by this point (online.) A further point is the fact Micheal only really did those jobs in storymode due to the the conquests of the Jews store hesit and not just that you have the factor Micheal wanted to make flims and have a fammily and enjoy his life. I do agree on your statement however I just wanted to point out why Micheal should not be added to gta online. A movie production dlc does not fit in the games lore... but mind you this is T2 they don't give fu*k qnd will happily stick anything to the wall and hope it sticks for profits (not to mention online lore is like trying to explain the fnaf timline but simpleified.) Sorry for my essay here I just wanted to iron out my veiw on this and hope orther people use this comment for various things.

Option C originally planned to have Franklin killed and have him replaced by Lamar as a playable character. Nice to see Rockstar was finally able to flesh Lamar out more, on top of finally having characters who actually talk when you play online! lol

"Vanilla" single player experience is always better than fake solo/duo missions hidden behind a paywall (2.010.000 in game dollars are required to buy agency and start "Contract). It's like placebo effect. Such a shame for a single player fans...

Seeing this much emphasis put on singleplayer characters in Online almost feels surreal to me, like something out of a dream. Like you can even play as Lamar in Online! The devs at Rockstar clearly want to make singleplayer content again but the higher-ups and T2 only got Online revenue in mind.

Man now that I think of it.. This update uses a buncha cut stuff. I mean not only the scar H and others but also playable Lamar too? It may just be a stretch but I really think they definitely took some code n progress from the cut "Lamar over Franklin" ending and just scrammed it in here. Then again, this update has a LOT of similiarities compared to even past ONLINE dlcs not to mention that basically every online DLC so far drew some content from the cut singleplayer DLCs anyway..

The only new thing about this seems to be Dr. Dre and Franklin/Lamar's voice acting. The rest is just stuff that was either planned for a single player dlc YEARS ago or just recycled single player missions. You're literally doing the exact same mission where you break into the FIB building, just on easy mode. No parachuting to the roof, no "hacking", no escaping through the burning building, no shootout outside. It's a joke. It's an adult rated game but their online content clearly focuses on the age of 9-15. Again, a joke.

If they keep up with these types of dlcs, GTAO might be somewhat redeemable. I didn't really enjoy the dlc, but these 3 missions are straight up legendary, this should've been GTAO, play as actual people and do cool gangsta shit.

@@hottrin6103 they are doing good in terms of business, but in terms of what the fans want and how they treat fans, is horrible. When I say "treat the fans", I mean they give us all this free DLC but In game the DLC items are sooooo expensive that you HAVE to spend real money regardless. Yes you can grind your arse off for these things without having to spend real money, but at the end of it all, grinding so long to get these mega expensive items, just isn't worth it. Shit I sold my oppressor mk2 for the agency building to actually play this new DLC. Saying that, I have had a real blast with this new dlc.. A return to the main story with Franklin and Lamar and The big Dawg Chop, was a very nice feeling.. Now that part is good fan service. Everything else GTA online has to offer, though, is just pure robbery lol.

These missions just really make me want more single player content where you play as Lamar. There is so much amazing potential for things they could have done with the single player that all got thrown out the window because of GTA Online and it infuriates me.

now you already know, THIS was fan service. man, why didn't they just give us a damn single player extension... i want a single player extension, i want to be able to play as franklin again, i don't want to play in a game where you are literally forced to buy shark cards or you have to grind like a real damn job. If they went through all this effort, then why didn't they just make a single player expansion? I would deadass drop $60 right now for a whole new chapter in grand theft auto 5's story. I'd love to see how franklin managed to get his life to be so successful, because that isn't cleared in the online mode.

Its so dumb that they made this online. You basically have to pay for this because it requires you to buy a 2 million dollar property + vehicles to play. If they made it a singleplayer dlc they couldve charged people for it and made the same money, but it wouldve been a much better experience

Fact that this was an original concept for story mode and the gang theme was for online, just makes me happy seeing it comes to play. Like this is what gta5 should've been all along not stupid save the world shit. If they had centered GTAO around Franklin and Lamar with the whole weed and gang violence theme the game would've been wayyyy more fun tbh But no they want flying bikes and fighting to save the world from AI heists Pathetic and lame
