CrypTox It did happened with gta? The physics are better, lighting is better, there are more dialogues, the animations are better etc... A lot of stuff GTA IV had they didn’t even added on GTA V, GTA 4 had better physics. Thankfully rockstar realized their mistakes and put more attention to small details on RDR 2.

Gta 4 NPCs: Rather dim/Easy to feel a little sad after killing them Gta 5 NPCs: Dumb and violent/Feel nothing after killing them RDR1 NPCs: Smarter than any of GTAs NPCs/ Fun af to kill because of the amazing physics but still feel regret after killing them RDR2 NPCs: The smartest/ Genuinely feel bad after killing them

@whippersnapper: ALL GTA games NEVER made me feel like I am in a "normal" world; just think of the traffic in GTA 3, Vice City, SA, 4... Man, everyone was driving like crazy! And if you walked around, you got driven over by a maniac pretty soon. That is why I loved Mafia 1, at that time, cause you could drive normally and enjoy respecting the red lights etc. GTA 5 was bit more normal, since not everyone drove like crazy and they respected the traffic rules. That is one aspect.

in Red dead redemption killing someone makes you feel like a bad person, in GTA killing someone makes you feel like a badass

Omar In GTA 5 open world I kill people and run over them because the consequences are just one star that is just so easy to get away with. RDR2 on the other hand gives you a bounty and when you’re walking around the town people say stuff like “back for more trouble” which really makes you feel like a bad guy. I’m more cautious about killing or running over people in RDR2 open world.

@@dekarmeryalmar8774 no the story, the random interactions, the stranger missions were all well done , all characters had good character development , we had a good prologue as John and the multi-player although its not as great as gta online I feel it's neglected by rockstar as they care more about gta online , but I believe red dead online couldve been just as good if rockstar put more love into but I still think its great

Feeling the same, in here. I installed and UNinstalled GTA 5 so many times (after getting it for free, through Epic Games), because, I try to walk and mind my business, enjoy nature and whatever... but, after some minutes, something comes out of me that only wants to bring in menace to society! GUNS BLAZING and cops following me like it is the end of the world... And, every time, after couple hours, I uninstall it again :))

Feel sad about the game too. I thought that it was having quite a success by now. Did not buy the game, nor checked the regular news and hyped trailers. GTA San Andreas is more immersive than GTA V for some reasons. NPCs talk to CJ more often & interact with each other & the environment more. RDRII doesn't feel like a game. It feels like a window to another reality. A beautiful masterpiece of a game.

Well when you only look at NPC AI rockstar games are always far far ahead. Still when it comes to story CD Projekt is leagues ahead of the garbage in GTA5. RDR2 was better but still quite generic.

I can only think about how horrifying it is that in 5 years they overcame an awesome game in every single way and made the game look so real that you even forget that you're in a game. GTA VI is coming to blow up some minds, that's for sure. I can't even imagine how fucking great it is going to be after playing RDR2. I can't imagine a game being more realistic than that.

GTAV is what i consider a sandbox game where you can do anything, the npc are just the icing. But RDR2 is what i consider a true open world, where the world immerses you from wildlife to npc.

I am always fascinated by how the AI has improved again and again in the last few decades, with the exception of some other games. Rockstar shows what is possible and what can get better in the future. Thanks to such clips here you can analyze and improve this well I think. Good job on R *!
