Today we are comparing the $47,000 Black Diamond vs. a $52,000 Outer Banks.
One of these are clearly built for more intense off-road action, while one is built more for on-road comfort. We walk through the details of each that make them distinct in the ever-expanding Bronco lineup.

All bronco models have LED headlights. The fancier ones on the outer backs (equipable or standard on some other trims too) just have diff daytime running lights with the halo design and the larger intersecting indicator. They are actually 100% interchangeable parts-wise.

ALL Bronco head lights are LED, the outer banks is stock with the signature LED headlights. The black diamond however, does not have LED tail lights.

Correct. The DRLs and turn signals are LED on the Outer Banks model.

I have a Black Diamond 4door MIC, 2.7 Mid pack,velocity blue on order. I cant wait to get it. I really am crossing fingers by late summer

LOL @Brandon. Watch out for shopping carts! I think 90% of Bronco owners (and Jeep owners) probably worry about that more than they do rocks and tree limbs

Correction: All Broncos have LED headlights. The optional light package gives the headlights a different appearance and adds LED taillights. There are no incandescent headlights on any Broncos.

Yes, we did a lead-follow and there were some breakover angle issues with the OB.

Stuck between these two trims! About a $4k difference in my builds. Is the 12 inch really worth it as well as leather?

…and the 360 degree camera system. Only on Outer Banks and higher. (Not even available on the Everglades trim)

Depends on what you want? I had an order for BD, but the dealership got in an OB with the lux package (which you can't get in the BD). After sitting in it I decided I wanted the creature comforts that come with the lux package...heated steering wheel (previous car had it), wireless charging and bigger screen. But to be honest the vinyl seats that come with BD are more durable, and I like the BD headlights without the light bar better than what's on the OB...more in keeping with retro bronco

I'm getting BaseSquatch, modular bumper, 2.7 engine. Thats plenty good for me. Crazy to spend over $50k. Nuts. Ford is rolling in money!

Been going back and forth between the two. Local dealers are getting a lot of outer banks with Sasquatch but none in Black Diamond. Debating between the 2

All depends on how much you wanna pay and how lux/tech-focused you are.

@@GTGarageTalk trying to keep it under 55k. I like the marine vinyl and grille of the Black Diamond but love the headlights and 12 inch screen of the Outer banks. Def a hard choice!

ya.... you won't get that 12" screen in the Black Diamond, though there is nothing wrong with the smaller one either. Headlights can be upgraded.

Nothing is incandescent pertaining to headlights. All led. Just signature or non-signature.

We have not tried it, but yes that is our understanding.

Yes I put 33s on my Black Diamond which came with 32 inch tires. No lift kit required.

I would have purchased the outer Banks if it wasn't for the fact that it only comes in four door. I am a single person who likes to have the luxury part, but I am not willing to go to four doors just to get a bronco that should have its normal s*** done on every f****** level.

no modular lighting in middle roof, God fix, cut 3 ift length slits right not in eyes left no in eyes but over seats or middle more middle of middle panel. In polly fill tint polly fill if too light/bright.

Always go w/tried & true worked out bullet proof system/design. Like 2 hand break cables or not breathing like toyota corp ever more. Redundancy id God favorite design mantra. Car not sliding down hill in manual bc right & left emergency cable tight turn system no extra fuck ford damned not allow to breath my air repelling making war against humanity & Kingdom of GOD to say nothing about Me. If any employee still breathing not cking hell eternally damned box or sinning just for fun I don't fuck care. Not for profit evr more GOD property & HIS bank account but not near as bad as GM, try max evil white boy bad not rapper bad.
