I have a 2015 chevy suburban, it has the same h11 halgeon projector as you, and I purchased the gtr lighting ultra 2 also before, then I returned to exchange the S-V.4. The S-V.4 perform 2X better than the gtr lighting ultra 2 in Chevy trucks and you can see the Hotspot and the beam pattern clearly with the S-V.4. The gtr lighting ultra 2 will only works good with a crystal clear lens projector.

There is a sensor light on your middle dashboard close to the windshield, if u puts on auto, it will turn off if because there is enough light from the sun during a day. If u cover the sensor it will be on all the time.

Do you have an after market exhaust on that Chevy?

I was checking the GTR lighting website and when I selected the H11 for headlight it didn't let me proceed. I did also see the headlight revolution video that tests them for headlights. They definitely look bright in your video.

The reason they say that these are for fog lights only is for the legality of selling them. They can legally sell them for fog lights. But once you say that they’re for sale to be installed in headlights then it becomes illegal. So YES you can use them in your headlights and many do. But to be frank they are not meant to be used in fogs or headlights more than the other. It’s just that for some reason in the USA the government seems to not care how bright we make our fog lights but headlights are limited to certain bulb types and colors. Even HID bulbs technically should not be sold for use in headlights but that’s why they sell them for “off road use only” and wording like that usually. That way if someone installed them in headlights and tries to sue them, they can say we sell them for off road use only or for Fog lights only. Etc etc.

As far as DRLs go they are made for low light overcast or foggy days. It’s not going to come on in auto when the suns flat out shining. I live in SC. I have a 2011 Silverado and wife has a 2010 Suburban. Both operate as designed. I’m a Chevrolet Technician of 10 years

Dude, No LED can take lower voltage like how simple resistor/halogen bulb can. The LED driver only work at minimum 11V not 6V light in DRL. Your halogen bulb is just simple tungsten, and can take any voltage, as low as 1V, the power is V2/R. R is constant, so in DRL mode, you only take 1/4 of power

They are suppose to mimic your old build not for blinding people I got the GTR CSP MINIS FOR MY 2015 Jeep with projection headlights they are suppose to work better will let u know I’ve been running hid from headlight revolution and seem to be great

They don't go out farther most are limited to about 300 feet. It will just be more lumens on the same amount of space

This might be new to you and many people who use these to replace their halogen headlights. These are not street legal in the US. I'm not saying it's a big deal but you should not use it on the street cuz even when adjusted correctly, they are still too bright and blind people on the street.

You need resistors that’s why your DRL are not staying on

the problems is not the GTR led, its your project housing. you need a LED or HID projector. The OEM projector is halogen projector

Problem with HIDS you'll melt your headlamp housing and they go out quicker LEDS last longer
