1:53 "He's rolling on a lot of power so wait for him to shift first." I just recently really started thinking about that line after many years of playing this game. I just can't figure out what the hell it means. I'm no expert in the automotive field but it sounds like a cool line that wasn't meant to make any sense.

My guess would be he has so much horsepower that he can’t get all of it down to the road so when he’s shifting between gears so he’ll lose traction , his tires will spin, losing time and you can use that time he lost to your advantage

when you shift then since it's a mustang, it has bad weight balance. when he shifts, he loses speed, and since you drive a BMW, you have better weight balance and therefore when he shifts = perfect chance to overtake him

Kruger Capone need for speed underground, underground 2 and most wanted borrowed car sounds from 2 fast 2 furious as to reduce costs and 2 fast 2 furious had a lot of good car engine sounds. Fyi: Mia's Mazda RX8 uses the evo 7 sound from 2 fast 2 furious at some point in the cutscenes

funny in the beginning of the game I kind of had a feeling Mia was a cop. simply because she knew you were getting out of jail. and she was awfully friendly when she let you get in the car. and on top of that how did she know from the very beginning that you were even going to get busted... also that black cop cross gave you a big clue in the beginning. pretty little surprise... amazing I was this young and understood. just pointing that out...

5:09 "We're gonna take your car, tear up apart, and *see if it's street legal* " Well. Cross indeed wouldn't had any problem to pass it as street legal. Because the M3 GTR was stock, and the car, was... *kind of...? legal* . Yeah. That M3 GTR has a street-legal pink slip (or title), and it's said that was stock, and *potentially* could be a un-restricted M3 GTR Straßenversion (the street car, not the racing one), so, the car would have not problem to be checked part by part. Cross, you potentiallybcould take a shame because the car IS street-legal.

Nah, the street-legal M3 GTR had a different bodykit and spoiler. It also had some different parts - while it had a P60 engine, it had helical gears which didn't produce the whine. It also didn't have a rollcage.

This is the race-spec GTR, with a v8 engine, roll cage, straight-cut gears, body kit and spoiler. The whole engine is nowhere near street legal.

For me, is pretty ambigous, because in the Black edition the Straßenversion can be purchased xd That's why i think it was a race-bodied M3 GTR Straßenversion... (And it had the straight-cut gears too. But i think it was just a thing that Black Box forgot i think?)

@@HirokaAkita It's not about blinkers or side mirrors missing, it's that the engine is literally illegal for street use, and strictly for controlled racing. Due to the speed, V8 engine sound, straight cut gears, GTR body kit, GTR exclusive spoiler, I think it's pretty clear that is a race spec GTR, and I have no idea how the player got it, but at least in the USA and my country, that car is absolutely not street legal.

It's kinda funny how Razor was number 15 on the list behind a VW Golf GTi and other relatively low performance cars while he was racing in a souped-up Ford Mustang and couldn't crack above 15 until he got his hands on a better car. It just proves that the guy had no talent for racing.

If you use mods to finish the race after the car broke down, you still lose your car and the game is still normal.

It's just the speed mod, you can reach the finish the line but the game doesn't register it as a win.

Razor was only #15 in the prologue so after beating him you would've gone against an unknown #14 next sonny wouldn't been in the blacklist at all he was "still pretty fresh on the blacklist" JV would've been number 1 because razors cronies wouldn't been in the blacklist either they only became that high up thanks to razor so you would've had #14 and #13 being some unknown drivers or maybe sonny would've been #13 and number #14 would still be an unknown driver or if Ronnie and bull ditch razor bull would be number 1 and Ronnie number 2 and you'll go against Taz after beating razor

Criterion failed with the M3 GTR they just added an M3 GTR bodykit on a street M3 E46 and failed at the paint job the M3 GTR is metallic SILVER not pure white!
