Not. For me fps feels the same with or without frame generation, so I prefer the higher number, people say shit like you are people that can't play true frame generation(true frame generation only on Nvidia 4000 series cards).

@@gamerkid888 For a long time it was the best looking game, it pushed the graphics to the max and there was no PC that could run it at max settings at 1080p and 60fps. It was also released only on PC in 2007, and then in 2011 released on the Xbox 360 after a major downgrade (with still poor performance) and with one or two missions completely cut because X360 was unable to handle it. Many people say Crysis is a good game but for me it was just a tech demo because you had amazing graphics, physics, destruction system but the gameplay, story and characters were mediocre at best. I also disagree with the OP that "this game reminds me of the crisis." Crysis made a huge leap in quality in the things I mentioned, while Gray Zone Warfare didn't imo.

Funny how the industry pushed everyone to want 1080p 60Hz on the low side and 4k 120Hz on the higher side and these games come out unoptimized unable to do either correctly.

I run the game decent on a Ryzen 7 5700x CPU AMD 5700XT GPU. 24gb RAM. Everything Low except textures (medium). I also cap frames at 30 and out frame gen on so it’s a pretty solid 60fps

It is BY FAR my favorite game and seriously i can't remember the last time a game had me addicted like this, 160hrs in and still going strong.. With a 4060TI[16GB] and R5500, so a somewhat modern but surely not beast PC. Imagine having listened to your advice - well at least i had a life besides gaming i guess.

So with framegen u basically trade some performance so u can generate a frame inbetween each frame, so 35-40 becomes 30 but with another 30 "fake" frames. which in my opinion make below the hands and gun look weird and moving objects like text also have that same artifacts.

OMG. My current configuration: Ryzen 5 5600 (stock) + RTX 3060Ti + 32Gb DDR4 3600Mhz + NVME 1Tb Pci 3.0 + 24' 144hz Monitor. I only managed -30fps with horrible graphics and many crashes with the gpu dropping to 1% usage, I couldn't see almost anything, I tried everything, leaving low, using fsr, if frame regeneration was activated the input lag was very high. I found videos with similar settings and even with low and fsr settings, the image was less jagged and the game was more fluid even at 30 fps. I wonder if it might be a problem with my operating system (Windows 11 updated 23:2). Right here on the channel, I saw an RTX 2060 running better than my configuration, and now a GTX 1080 performing better than mine when I tried to play here.

If you haven't played more than 2 hours, I'd recommend refunding the game and waiting until performance patches arrive, because I doubt you'll get 60 fps with the game in this state anyway.

i play on a i7 7700k with 1080 and am running smooth 60-80 frames with FSR on native AA setting. not amazing frames but its smooth and sharp and enough to let me to solo the questline (only two keylocked quests left).

All games should be focusing gpus like 6600xt, 3060 12gb, 4060 as the recommened one for at least native 1080p/medium settings at 60fps. The reason? Well, those are the most common GPU with the power enough to run any modern and good looking game at those settings. I have seen a lot of amazing looking games that runs really acceptable on those gpus: TLOU Part 1 (after VRAM optimization), Horizon Forbidden West, RE4 RMKE, CALLISTO PRTCOL (after denuvo remove), AVATAR: FoP, FH5, Atomic Heart, and few others

With nvidia I have found that I went to 522.12 driver. Not use if there recommend driver and now have a 130 fps on high settings and a great experience.. from a stuttering hot mess of sub 30 fps.. try it make sure to do a clean install

It's only this game, that wasn't even realesed on consoles, cause won't be playable on them. 3080 still a lot faster than any console, and will play every console game very good, and almost all games come to consoles too. This game It's like a crisis in 2007, that was released only on pc, and on consoles was realesed only in 2011 with much lower graphics than PC, lol!

I run a Ryzen 7 3700x with RTX 3070 8GB and 32GB ram. Then i use FSR and Frame Gen with reflex on+Ultra, Vsync ON ***("if Latency in Nvidia CC is set to Ultra and Vsync set to ON")***. And with settings on high, and textures on medium i get 75 - 105 fps (high takes away 10-15fps sometimes) On 1080p and FSR Native AA i see 75-80 fps with a combo of medium and high settings. Textures low/medium and shadows medium. On 1440p with same or high settings (Textures medium/low) i can see 80-100 fps with FSR on quality or Balanced. So it's ok with a RTX 3070 8GB, but my problem is that the CPU is bottlenecking. CPU runs at 100% but GPU only 60-70%

Not sure whats going on..I'm running a first gen Ryzen 1500 with a GTX 1080, SSD, 32GB of ram...playing on all medium settings, FSR, with 70-80 FPS. Although I still get the occasional rubber band..I can enjoy it, lvl 28..100hrs.

i bought this game before the minimum requirements listed needing an 8gb video card and i use an rtx 3060 mobile gpu. It's sad that i cant upgrade the laptop and I'll have to sit this one out
