I agree we only got 24hrs in a day and so many days. Go out and try new things including food! Sometimes the food isnt all that good but sometimes it is yes lol

Wow, impressive....impressed with how much of that plate you ate; that was a lot of food. Looked pretty good. I'm Chamorro so I've tasted the real thing. I have been to one Guam food place in San Diego and they do pretty good, but haven't seen another one.

Oh Uncle, chicken kelguen (kelaguen mannok) is not half cooked. Traditional way is we bbq our marinated chicken (fully cooked), onions, seasonings including that donne, lemon powder, shredded coconut, greens onions if you like. Or even kelaguen uchang or kelaguen binadu. Potato salad or Crab Salad, Red Rice or Lemai with Coconut milk, finadene, kimchee salad (daikon, cucumbers, kimchee base), Uchang patties.

hafa adai lol..yeah, aunties from guam used to tell me they used to use 1/2 to 3/4 cooked bbq chickens and the yours lemon powder does the rest (cooks them due to the acidicity) lol..and yeah,, coconut is an option as well. i actually made this on one of my videos. what i really wanna eat when i was in guam was the coconut crab. lol...estalata ! and tx for stopping by.

I was stationed on the island of Guam in the early 70s and was invited by some of the Chamorro people that I worked along side with! Wow! really good! Best thing I can compare that is a Puerto Rican Pig roast (lechon) in the states and Puerto Rico where my ex-wife was from.

Fresh lemon juice, salt, green onion and maybe some hot pepper, no coconut is how I know to make it. It's amazing. Grandpa never used powdered lemon. 🤷 Shouldnt have to put finedene on it. It should be its own tang flavor. Finedene is also its own tang flavor to put on other things. Do they have non chammoro employees cooking? A chammoro has those flavors deeply imprinted in them and the food isnt difficult to make, especially if your elders taught you how to use your nose for testing.

In this video I had a friend from Guam but I have never had food from him and in HAWAII I have never met anyone from Guam in HONOLULU HAWAII many people from the PACIFIC OCEAN usually all Asians some white people and no black people none zero and HAWAII is known as the melting pot of the PACIFIC and NYC is known as the melting pot of the WORLD as you can meet people from around the world and I am not lying and if you live in the APPLE you will agree hand's down no lysis no jokes simple fact

Si yuus maasi for stopping by. Did a Google map search from Seattle to guam grub its about 30 or so mins..about 25 miles from Seattle. maybe not to heart of Everett? Dunno. U could be right.. guam grub address says its in everett wa...i not from there...was travelling....bless up.
