I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos, and I'm super excited for you! 3 months is a great amount of time too to really explore around and get around the island 💛 I hope you have an awesome experience!

Just came across your channel, and it takes me back to Guam. I did my advanced open water cert with MDA. Dove Gab Gab, Amer Tanker, night dive off of Gun Beach, etc. They used to have Saturday morning dive meet-ups where folks would gather and pick up debris while diving to help clean the environment. Great vids and thanks for sharing!

That's awesome! I haven't done a night dive yet because I'm a scaredy cat haha 😅 Hopefully when I visit back next year I'll be able to squeeze in a few dives just to get my fix because I do miss it!

I’m about to move here in the summer! I think it will be a great fit because I lived in Hawaii most of my life😁

Absolutely! I'm sure you'll love it. We might not get those lovely tradewinds that Hawaii gets, but it is truly a beautiful place with much to explore and experience ❤

Can’t wait to go back and live in Guam for good!! Been living in mainland for almost 15 years but after a few years I can’t stop thinking about living in Guam again!! It maybe a small island but there’s so much more to do’s that would still make you feel homey and adventurous .. unlike here in mainland, yes it humongous but it feels chaotic and stressful..

Did you dive the Cormoran and the Tokai Maru wrecks in Apra Harbor? Ive been to the tanker and blue hole a lot. I taught scuba at MDA and ran a tourist charter dives. So so much fun.

Hi Dani. Question: Are there any concerns of running into snakes in the woods during hiking on Guam?
@DaniAdams
@DaniAdams Жыл бұрын
As far as I've been hiking, we've never encountered snakes thankfully. Really the only snake prevalent on Guam is the brown tree snake, but even those don't bother anybody and aren't poisonous to adults.

Dani, how do I get a visitors pass to go to places with Ague Cove?
@DaniAdams
@DaniAdams 2 жыл бұрын
For Ague Cove you don't need a visitor pass. It's open to the public 😁 You would just have to park outside the gate and then walk to the trailhead.

what kind of wildlife/critters are there to be found while hiking or swimming in the freshwater pools? Poison ivy/oak? Mosquitoes, etc.?
@DaniAdams
@DaniAdams 3 жыл бұрын
Honestly mosquitoes would be the most of my concern, especially in the jungle-heavy areas. As far as wildlife, you might see deer, boars, small monitor lizards, and small spiders but none that are poisonous. No poison ivy either 😊
