Thanks for having me along @RebelThenKing ! I'm glad to have had such a great conversation about these new classes. One extra thing I want to bring up that I forgot during the video: the Guardian has feats in order to gain resistance to energy damage, and even further feats to gain further reduction to a specific energy type. Feels like maybe something that most Guardians would want to have as a feat, so maybe a nice thing to build in as a later level feature? Just thinking out loud here.

You only get one of the Threat Techniques, it’s your ‘subclass.’ You pick one then you gain the class feature and then that’s it.

Also, friendly reminder that multiple sources of resistance don’t stack. Only the highest applies. So that pie in the sky 50 DR when crit isn’t ever gonna be a thing

The problem with this class is that it is annoying, but not threatening. What happens to the enemy if they just ignore the guardian. Nothing really. Small penalty to hit, possibly none of they rolled well. They are not risking anything by continuing to attack the barbarian.
