I like the idea of Nebula having one of those "just starting to understand love," crushes on Peter. Like, nothing that would necessarily develop. But the kind of thing that might see him play a role, down the line, in her emotional growth.

Yes. I don’t want to see it bloom. I just wanna see the awkwardness of the beginnings of a crush. I also don’t like the idea of him getting with new gamora, they’re clearly not a match like they were before, she’s too dark now. Unless mantis decides to touch her head and make her remember the alternate timeline, I’d rather Peter stay solo or find someone new

Rocket not killing the High Evolutionary shows how the character learned and overcomed his dark and terrible past, for me it's easily the best MCU film after the Infinity Saga.

Agreed. I think Galaxy 3 was in the top MCU films. Not sure if most pple know but also cause it is heavy in symbolism with the history of Humanity and other lifeforms but that's a whole other rabbit hole

For me, the happenings of The Snap helps on developing Rocket's character development. Like he lost his only family that he has for 5 years without knowing that they can come back. But because the Avengers finds a way on bringing them back, Rocket probably do everything he can to help because he knows that they can succeed and bring everyone back again.

James Gunn and crew really nailed this trilogy. Got around to watching Vol 3. today and it was great. They show that when you have great characters and good writing the set pieces and levels of action don’t matter or need to be the reason to see a Comic Book movie. Not that the movie doesn’t have those things but it’s so much more you’re hanging out with characters you really enjoy being around. DC and actually most of Marvel now, just can’t put this together. Man, that scene when Rocket just wails in despair and sadness after a certain bad thing happens (don’t want to spoil) was just so well done by Cooper and the animators. Felt that one deep.

I’d be happy if the characters came back with another Guardians movie but I know that won’t happen. I’m thinking they will definitely be back for the Secret Wars. if Kang and his upcoming conflicts are still a go, it would be interesting to see how alternate versions if the Guardians are.

There's no way that they wouldn't do it, otherwise why even show the new team that's formed in the post credits? If they were to just use them for Secret Wars, they could have just had a scene of them all together where Rocket says "we're the new frickin Guardians of The Galaxy" And that would have absolutely sufficed. There's definitely plans to give this new team some kind of actual run eventually, an if James Gunn wants to pipe up over the prospect of it again he needs to shut tf up and humble himself, it's not gonna affect his original vision because that's over an done with, there's a new team now with a blank slate for someone to go forward with their own vision 😊

I saw this movie twice in theaters and finished the 2nd viewing, looking forward to watching it a 3rd time. Now it is out and am resisting the urge to buy it before it lands on Disney Plus. Best GotG movie so far. One of my FAVOURITE MCU productions so far. Still gotta beat Winter Soldier, Wandavision, Homecoming and a few more.

After everything we have seen of Nebula I find it impossible to believe that Nebula isn't able to process her feelings about someone. I like this. I want to see The High Evolitionary become more comic accurate, like he experiments on himself, and has a forced accelerated evolution, and heightens his intelligence and physical power, just like in the comics, and make him more comic accurate, giving him powers like psychokenesis, and black hole creation, energy blast, super strenght, super speed, immortality by like hacking and rewriting his genetic code or genome or something like that, and many other different powers. And I just really want to see The High Evolitionary vs Galactus in the MCU, just once, just once, I want to see that.

@itouchbuttons I know, but it's just that the High Evolitionary was a major galactic figure in the comics who drew the attention of beings like the Celestials and Galactus and he has even fought Galactus and held his own because he was that powerful and capable, so with him still alive in the MCU, I would like to see those possibilities made manifest.

I loved the first one and the second was OK but they really stuck the landing with this one. There were some gripes I had with the Guardians series and they pretty much fixed all of it here. Good movie and the High Evolutionary was a great villain.

And here I was thinking whatever actually happened to the high evolutionary because they didn't show him die at the end of the movie. turns out for the first time the MCU chose not to kill off a villain and instead imprison them like how they usually are in the comics 😅
