Hi friends!
Guerlain has just launched their holiday collection for 2023 and I basically ordered everything from this release. I must have entered a fugue state because before I knew it I had ordered the new eyeshadow palette, meteorite pearls, terracotta bronzer, lipstick and case! I did two looks using this palette but I'll be creating more soon. The Guerlain holiday bronzers typically have gold overspray that disappears after first use. I love the green in this palette! I like look number 2 best but both are nice.

I love look 1 and I’m shocked how wearable/ neutral that pink lipstick looks with both looks. Very pretty and I love the festive look that palette gives. Those combinations just don’t seem right in the palette but leave it to Violette to see the colors and make an art piece that looks beautiful and cohesive. ❤❤

Look No. 2 is divine! That green color (aside from being my favorite color) is very elegant/classy. And it looked great with your greenish top and also brings out the color of your eyes more.

Allô Allison, j’ai acheté les météorites d’abord pcq ça faisait longtemps qu’il n’y en avait pas eu pour la collection de Noël 😉 et aussi au début je me disais que je ne l’achèterais pas pcq j’ai déjà cette couleur mais après voir vu le vidéo de @LexiJong où elle explique que la formule a été refaite et que maintenant cette couleur est plus « warm » que « cool » dans la formule précédente. 🥰 je les aimes vraiment!!

So I can't watch your videos anymore on my computer because it's just sooooo easy to Add To Cart while you're putting on makeup! I love this collection and am going to have to use all of my power to resist that quad and the lipstick. I love Guerlain and have been using their products since I was a teenager! Hi Alli I like the second look! You can carry off bold looks, and it's fun to see. That's a really pretty collection. I love the canister for the meteorites. Look No.2 I purchased a limited bronzer edition some years ago that came in a tin round canister and same thing happened the gold overspray disappeared with the first use and I was glad, it was too much for me but the bronzer is beautiful, I still use it now and will last years as it’s a very generous size.

I vote look 2 because that green goes so devastatingly gorgeous with your eyes. I wore a look to work all week with the purple and pearl shade and I loved it. The bronze is the 03 Medium Warm in the Bronzing Powder formula. It’s beautifully sculpting for my face, and I enjoy it even without the overspray. The Meteorites case is delightfully Art Deco, though I admit the smell takes some getting used to. My favorite holiday collection of 2023. Can’t wait to see how else you use the palette. It also works beautifully with the green pearl shade from Parure Venetienne by Chanel. 💚💜💛🤍

Le vert et le violet sont mes couleurs préférées...donc la palette de Guerlain me parle énormément 😄 Ces deux couleurs se marient parfaitement, j'ai testé plein de fois 😉 Cette collection va être mienne très bientôt. Elle n'est pas encore sortie en France. Sinon, Guerlain sort des palettes terracotta à Noël depuis quelques années, elles contiennent toujours des notes dorées (parfois persistantes parfois juste une couche superficielle) et sont des éditions spéciales. Mais je ne suis pas fan des poudres de soleil, donc je ne les achète jamais. J'ai les classiques et je les utilise très rarement. Merci pour la vidéo 😊

I like both looks. The green I think also can be used as a liner. And i would like also green/gold and purple gold. Like with a gold Inner lid . Ça nous change de Dior et Chanel.Ce sont de belles palettes également mais toujours trés classiques dans les couleurs. Et parfois du changement ça fait du bien. Ta vidéo est toujours bien expliquer . I really like this collection & all the colors look beautiful on you! Although you may have been slightly disappointed with the lack of lasting overspray on the bronzer, it is lovely. I only picked up the bronzer (for now) and when I begin to apply it I'll start at the outer edges and work my way (as I use it over time) towards the center to make the overspray last for a bit. Great video as always Allison!

I think both looksa are beautiful but I am drawn to the bold look. With your deep set eyes it doesn't look crazy. Also, the bronzer looks fabulous on you--I wish the gold would have stayed but it still looks luminous. I like this collection and may run down to my local Guerlain counter and see if it has arrived.

Finally, this collection is now available in my country. I didnt pick up the meteorites because it is in light. I also dont like glitters on my face. I prefer the violettes pressed powder. The lipstick in flamingo pink is fabulous. I am yet to use the eye shadow palette.

It has a pink flower, a peach flower & I would call it a bronzer shade. Those shades go all the way down to the bottom of the compact. I swirl all the colors around and use it as a blush and it’s beautiful. I was really hoping that the new animal print compact was bronzer mixed w/gold. That would of been so pretty. I bought the Terracotta Le Teint foundation & I really like it. I’m 46, so I was a little worried that it would b too dry bc I heard if a foundation says, “transfer proof” that it can dry your skin out, but it doesn’t. It doesn’t enhance fine lines, pores or texture. I definitely recommend it. I do not like to play around with foundation and concealer. It’s my least favorite makeup products to buy, so that’s saying something. I am absolutely clueless as how to use yellow eyeshadow. I see it popping up a lot lately & I just feel totally lost. With the meteorites, I recommend that u buff them in with a Sonia G buffing brush & you’ll b wowed at the difference it makes on your skin, compared to how u applied it in your video. I didn’t know what I was doing, until I watched Michelle Wang do a tutorial on how to get the best look & it’s a huge difference. U can pull off any color eyeshadow. Everything looks beautiful on u.

aww man I thought that bronzer having the gold pools was going to be amazing :( SO disappointed it was an overspray but hearing you swirl around the meteorites gives me the same vibes as swirling around an iced coffee LOL

This Clair shade is actually a new color. It differs color-wise and formula-wise (no talc anymore) from the existing Clair shade. I believe Lexi Jong has a video about this new shade and comparisons between the new Clair and the old Clair. I guess Guerlain is going to reformulate their permanent meteorites shades. Guerlain is notorious for using overspray on their bronzers which really annoys me. It is a luxury brand and there should be no overspray in my opinion.

Hi Alli, Guerlain has eye primer, I have used it for past year and it does the job🌸. It would be nice to see more plummy look with the pallet🙃. I have used the double R eye serum for few months. It is glorious to put on, but it does not do miracles😂. On time shine on the bronzer feels bit cheap😒. Both looks are nice, but one is too much and one is too little for my taste. On you they both look great 💕

I love both looks but am definitely drawn more towards the bold/festive look. However, I may be biased since I'm thinking of picking up the palette for a more festive look but it's nice that it is versatile too. I have never tried the meteorites, strange as that may seem, but a bit discouraged that it only comes in one shade which looks like it may be too light for me but not sure. What skin tones would you recommend the holiday meteorites for? or is it translucent and has some versatility? Thanks for sharing❤

I like the more dramatic look. Personally I don't like it when the designer makeup eye palettes include a red or yellow pan. Why do they do that as chose colors are not user friendly or even wearable for 99 percent of us. I feel at the price they are asking they shouldn't include a pan that we can't use.
