Honestly depending on the show, some dubs are even better. I'm surprised JLE doesn't like dub since she's wearing a Yu Yu Hakusho shirt & YYH has the single best English Dub of all time.

Props to the Editor for the visualizer, but the characters arent obscured enough with the gaus blur, so if youre playing along but also watching (obviously bc this is ayoutube video not a podcast) it spoils who it is immediately. maybe do a mosiac next time?

“Who watches dub?” Bruh, even as primarily a sub person, there are a lot of people who watch anime dubbed. There’s nothing wrong with that. And there’s a decent amount of anime where the dub is as popular (or more) than the sub. Like Pokemon, Dragon Ball, Cowboy Bebop, some Ghibli films, etc.

I can't believe that all the millennials in the United States were deprived of the privilege of hearing the original Digimon opening "Butterfly" from Kōji Wada, when they were kids, such a song is so iconic! If you haven't heard it, I invite you to hear it, you won't regret it 👌🏽

We were deprived of the original Digimon, Escaflowne, Cardcaptor, Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z themes -_- However the English ones are just as iconic to us (Once we got our first computer in 2002 we learned how to download anime songs and learned what we were missing). For some reason they kept Gundam Wing the same, then after that I guess it was just cheaper to keep original theme songs rather than write new ones. There used to be whole albums for the English Pokemon songs.

Same. I grew up with a different dub for Digimon Adventure and "Butter-Fly" was just sooooooooo much better. I HATE the American Digimon theme song.

I got to meet the legend Christopher Sabat. Waited for a hour and half to get his autograph for my daughter's Zuko funko pop. He gave me a free autograph of Ayame from fruits baskets cause he heard i was out of money to get myself an autograph. He even wrote a special message for my daughter on the funko pop too. If anyone gets to meet him it's worth the time and money. I got to meet a whole ton of people this year at Galaxy Con in Richmond. Best time off i had for work.Also got to meet the voice actor for Alphonse last year. Also another fun fact. Hell girl another underrated series. My middle child loved that series that she wanted to get a tattoo of the hell mark and then show it to others who watched the series to prank them lol

I am one of the few people who likes both sub and dub. I feel both have their place. Sub is better for understanding the story as originally intended, but I myself am a slow reader and can't follow subtitles that well. For me dub is great for people like myself, or people who are dyslexic or visually impaired. I always want to point this out to the die-hard sub fans, dub absolutely has its place.

I really loved Hamtaro. I was a bit too old for it, but it was just a lot of innocent fun. I find it hard to call it childish fun, because it wasn't really what I'd describe as childish from what I can remember.

@@nihartley5265 To be fair the hate is mostly only one way. If anything goes the other way it is mostly out of defence. I prefer dub my self, but I would never hate on sub or disrespect it cause they are doing an amazing job too. Some get the best experience from sub others from dub. One I hear the most is that they don't feel any emotion from dub, well it's to you cause for me it's the other way around only One Piece sub has made me feel the emotion. It's not because of the voice actor or anything. People experience things differently and I often don't enjoy it the same if I don't understand it. Liveaction is another barrel of fish because it hurts me when the mouth and voice don't match.

I prefer subbed, but to each their own. Not everyone can handle reading and paying attention at the same time, or some just like to do other stuff as they are watching and just listen. Doesn't matter subbed or dubbed we're all fans.

@@rexa1590 I'm solely a sub watcher. Nothing wrong with picking up another language? English voices are hard to listen to, especially the girls. I like the voices from the original. In miraculous I love the French dub cause it takes place and was made in France. If it's from Japan or set there, I want it to be Japanese. Japanese is a beautiful language. Never cared for dub. I did watch some dub as a kid cause that's all you could watch of it in the 90s lmao.

its 2024 and people are still fighting over Sub vs Dub... who the hell cares? watch how you wanna watch it! i myself watch both like if a anime i wanna watch has a dub im choosing the dub because 1: i have dyslexia and 2: i have migraines daily... you try and read moving text on a screen while your head feels like its going to explode lol

It’s 100% an anime. - Damn, was hoping to hear any of Johnny Yong Bosch or Yuri Lowenthal’s roles in here like Lelouch, Sasuke and more. The challenge had to be in dub because they had to guess the characters just from the *_audio_* It'd be too hard for some to do that if they don't know what the characters are saying since *_audio_* can't have subtitles! They're not watching a video screen, folks - they only had headsets on 🤣

FMA brotherhood anime is the original as it follows the manga series. The first animated series was a flop because they're just pulling things out of their asses as they go, as they ran out of source material (the manga series was slow paced and they caught up to it).😊

I remember as i was watching Yu Yu Hakusho after watching Hunter X Hunter, and noticing a lot of parallels in the battle system area of the world building. Youske was basically an Emitter, Kuwabara was basically a Conjurer, etc etc. Spirit energy instead of Nen. Come to find out they were both written by the same person

Chris and Brandel against each other is an Anime rivalry. It's almost unfair to the entire cast. Izzy R is unfair to almost anyone except Chris, Brian, or Brandel.

I knew all of them within the 1st and 2nd clues(either the character or the show) because ALL I WATCH ARE THE DUBS. I love dub actors and I love their voices and their take on the shows. Also go watch Ghost Stories Dub it’s the funniest shit ever!

1 - north america dub sucks. 2 - read faster, not everyone is a slow reader. 3 - the translation team for the dub is horrendous

@@mateussoares3569I read fast Asf and that’s not what they said sometimes you want to go & get something to eat, text someone and do actual things that require you to not look at the screen but hearing would eliminate that problem that’s why I listen to dub plus sometimes I like to watch and with my eyes closed so I can’t do that if I don’t speak the language

@@mateussoares3569 ok 1 and 3 is a generalization. 1 there might be some dub that suck just like in Japan there are some anime that suck 3. the is not just one translation team. you insulting loads of peoples work who love anime most likely more than you cause there in the industry to make it. also for the majority of anime the translation and the English scripts are oversee and approved by the Japanese. 2. there people like me who cant read that fast and want to enjoy the anime too. I dont know what you but i like to watch my show and not read it. for the sub only watchers why do you even watch anime and not just read the manga.
