The first of our next series of room makeovers is here! This time we tackled our Guest Bedroom which had slowly turned itself into the ‘junk room’. You know the one, it becomes a black hole for anything you don’t know what to do with... just pop it in ‘that room’ and shut the door. We decided it was time to open the door and sort it out.

Absolutely love everything about this room. Stunning. The only thing I would add if it were mine is some frosted film to the top half of the window to obscure the view of the flats and air con units completely but still allowing light to filter through leaving the bottom half of the window clear to see your lovely plants. I'll be so disappointed when you finish your renos as I have really enjoyed them having the same taste as you do.

The design choices you have made all throughout your home are choices on my wish list for when I buy a home and I’m LIVING for it, from the vj panelling, the limed floorboards, the transparent soft curtains over top of the solid block out blinds, home goals 100%

I would love to see the bed in front of the window, and at least one side table, the height of the mattress. I would also use a lamp with a drum shade, on one side of the bed. Perhaps another lamp on the console table.

This video gives me enthusiasm for innovating certain things in my room. The last thing I added was an Arco lamp from Barcelona Designs and I realized that the change was so important in terms of aesthetics and lighting design that it was worth trying adding some other aspects. Thanks for sharing the process.

Gorgeous room! I love you guys all the way from Toronto, Canada! I think I would have gone with 2 wall sconce down lights instead of one floor lamp, as we tend to have couples stay over.
