Great video! Im a beginner Kazumi player who only plays in my friend's PS4 since i dont have my own Tekken. But then i was able to buy Tekken in Steam for a huge discount, and then i wanted to pick up Jin, and this video is gonna help alot!

Also dick jab beats 123 and 124 so outside of combo filler I would recommend neither of those strings. However, 1,2 jails and is -2 on block which gives you some frames to step, punch sabaki, or sidestep/side walk 2 to snuff out retaliation. I would recommend 1,2 to scout for information on your opponent’s habits after being attacked

You actually don’t get any pressure off of 1,3f on hit. What you want to do is 1,3b since it jails, natural combos, is safe, plus on hit, and gives you space to reset neutral.

2:30 I'd just like to add, you would want to go into zen as rarely as possible. f4 into zen leaves you in your opponents face for a mixup alot of times, f4 no zen on block gives you a better situation and still allows you to move while making the potential combo harder to do.

Sort of. This is something I will go over more in part 2, but it's largely a playstyle decision. If you watch guys like CBM, they split it about 50/50, which I think is probably the wisest. At -1, Jin has more than enough options from going to ZEN (which includes going to CD) that your opponent can't just mindlessly mash against it on block.

Ws12 to zen is no pressure on hit. Ws12 on hit is +3. Ws12 to zen on hit is +2. Because it leaves you in crouch after hit an his fastest move from zen is 1, a 10f crouch jab beats all his zen options. Most players crouch jab after ws12, leaving an option to low parry the jab, hopkick, uf2 or uf3. Zen from ws12 was best used in tag 2 for bound setups with those properties. Total poop in this game on standing opponents to transition. I'm not flaming you here. Love your content from the podcast days!

Almost forgot. Ws12 to f3 keeping under 13f to keep from collision with jabs from crouch.

isnt 123 on jin neutral on block?

Yes and no. I should've explained that part a bit better. It's very similar to ff3 in that it can be 0 to +2 on block depending on the spacing/angle. It's typically going to be 0 if they block the jabs and you're at range 0. But you'll often get advantage if it catches off-axis, etc. 0 is still very good for Jin, though.

Yup. Plan is to eventually do everyone. I have no specific character at the top of the queue, so I can mark him down for next.
