About being flat-footed, in the Pathfinder PnP RPG, a character is flat-flooted until he acts for the 1st time in combat. That means, a character is flat-footed until he reaches his initiative rank in combat. And this is why having a high initiative is always good.

That's why surprise rounds are very important. But generally, touch attack is better than flat-footed.

Ironhide is racial feat that gives +1 AC. For Half-ocrs and Dwarfs. Wings can be gained by draconic bloodline and mutagen class. Seamantle, scribe it into scroll, then use it with your melee. It is super strong. Unarmored vs Armored. Mithril Heavy Armor will give you 18AC, Mage Armor 14 AC. Fighters will give you 19 AC with Greater Armor Focus. If character has 18 DEX or less (20 with GAF feat), then doing naked Mage Armor is not worth it.

Oh and the thing with Vestment bug. Enchantment on armor/shield is considered by game as part of Armor/Shield bonus to AC, not separate. That is why Enchantment bonus of Vestment gives up to +5 bonus.

FIX NOTE: Reduce Person only gives +2 Armor Class through +2 Dexterity and +1 Size Bonus!

sorry in advanced if you mentioned it in your talk since I just skipped through to see if I've missed anything. But Alchemist with infusion+shield can give a +4 AC to every anything without shield which isn't shabby at all(plus the alchemist himself can get wings) edit: oh yeah, I think it's bugged but: Alchemist in combo with anything that resets his skills(like Azata) can gain the natural armour from his mutagen, so you can have something ridiculous, like my Woljif had 95+ AC and was face tanking entire armies with protective luck and a bunch of immune status aliments effects on unfair

Hey great vid :) Mutagen also provides AC, ss and duelist gives INT to AC and both stacks so a +4 INT mod gives then in total +8AC. Maybe a Oracle is worth a mention cause of natur whisper for the CHA instead of DEX to AC bonus Is there are some mythic abilities that gives AC? I know a trickster can grow a beard for 1 AC :D

Well, mythic feat for dodge. Defensive studies adds AC when the target of the slayer's (or certain other archetypes) Studied attacks then.

Crane wing is not a bug, the description of the feat says nothing about needing to have 1 hand free.

crane wing has been fixed least for the current patch tried it and it doesnt give the ac bonus

What was the build for Seelah in this video? I can see 13 pala, 1 Witch, 4 dd. What were the last 2?

That was probably a monk (since she was able to wear that monk's robe for the bonuses)

Does crane wing work with two handed melee weapons?

No it doesn't - if it does it's a bug.

@@HDHaZmY It's also a bug that Piranha Strike works with heavy finesse weapons. Normally, it works only with light weapons and for heavy weapons you need Power Attack. Thats why even a DEX based Fighter should always have STR 13.

Needs an update. Currently, fighting defensively only increases your AC by 2 (3 if you get 3 ranks in Mobility) You also forgot bracers of armor. Legendary Proportions should LOWER your AC, since you're bigger. The size adjustment is a PENALTY when you get bigger, that's why Enlarge person is an offensive buff with defensive debuff, while Reduce person is the other way around.

Yes, armor does not negate damage like in other rpgs it just adds its value to your dodge rolls against physical attacks.

@@Antonin1738 well, think of it as a miss chance midifier, I believe that you don't do a dice roll when defending, it's just the enemies do an attack roll against your AC and everything below that number is a miss. Sorry for the confusion. It is just in the game you can have no armor and it is implied that you are dodging attack by adding your dex modifier, and when wearing armor the hit just doesn't penetrate and you use the number on your armor instead. Mechanically identical since you neither dodge nor block anything, you just compare two numbers against each other, and basically it is there for flavor. The only time that you technically dodge is against aoe attacks and it is a completely different stat - reaction saving throw.

This is pure powergaming. In normal Pathfinder, ACs above 40 are very rare.

Sadly this is the norm in the Pathfinder Video Games - 40 AC is even low in the game. This is a tutorial video with just entry-level information that's technically a must for playing Wrath of the Righteous.

yeah, but unfair don't exist there. On unfair difficulty, a common CR 10 demon probably has more SR,AB,AC,DC than CR40 Orcus in the pnp version.

40 AC is insufficient in this game, by late game frontliners need at least 60AC or else they are going to get destroyed. A balor lord has 49 AB after shaken and angelic halo, do you want to get hit all the time?
