i grew up with both kinds of parents, one was super supportive and the other... not so much, so there was a lot of conflict there and tension but luckily i was able to do what i really loved instead of just doing what was going to earn me the most money or what made me look good to the rest of my family. i can only imagine what it was like to have both parents be the kind that try to choose your path for you. good on you for sticking to what you loved doing!!! we get to choose how we spend our own lives. Its hard at the beginning to stray away from what our parents expect from us, but as long as we are happy thats all that should matter. love your reactions!!! i look forward to the next one
