We’ve had lots of extra water here for the last 5 years where I live in Iowa as well as Nebraska from 2015 on. Mixture caused from huge rains in the fall to flooding so that could be what made the ducks short stop you for the last 5 years like you mentioned. Now with a drought and hardly any water here this year we don’t have many ducks accept in the refuges that are pumped. Only Time will tell good luck this season hope all goes well with the guide service!

Just got back from Kansas from a youth pheasant hunt. Ended up with 2 roosters and 9 dove. While I was out there I was training my 3 month old vizsla pointer. We were on our farm. 2,000 plus acres. Going back soon to duck hunt. Can’t wait. Love the videos Bob, keep it up!!!😎

In the North Zone of Missouri (open since Oct. 30), the spinners have been keeping the ducks from committing ! Unless you have a remote on them, we've found its better to pull them in. WITH a remote, turn them off as soon as you see any ducks heading your way. The calling sounded great !

Really glad to see you have a great shoot with the first group of clients. I really wish you still felt comfortable with ShotKam videos. I know you said that with KZfaq you were going to stop using your ShotKam's. But I don't believe that you should BASH them. They really add to a video, and they work well. It maybe a hassle to edit into the hunts, but I would not know that.

Great hunt Bobby. You guys should check out some fields south of quivera right along 4th. Have seen a bunch in the fields mix of ducks and geese headed towards Stafford. Might be worth a look. Good luck and look forward to more videos.

A guided hunt that serves a breakfast of .....BREAKFAST BURRITOS??!! If I'm paying for my breakfast at a guided hunt, I expect eggs Benedict/French toast/maple syrup/ fresh sausages/etc. I can get breakfast burritos at the local Sonic.

What kind of shotgun are you using?

Did the shotkam completely die on you? Mine the battery lasted less than a year, i called shotkam and they replaced the battery for free. Cold weather kills the battery life also.
