A fun ranked match on vindi. I got a couple unlucky placement matches this season so I'm working my way up through G3 back to plat. I really abused the sword buff in this match to get a ton of kills for my team.

Is it possible to carry on vindicator or is it completely dependent on your team? Some classes like thief specs, willbenders, dh, necro, etc seem to be able to easily fight multiple people and carry teams. Vindicator seems so squishy and although it has some decent mobility and hp sustain, you have to do like double the work mechanically just to do OKAYish damage. been trying to make vindicator work but its frustrating when the team isnt doing well.

You can definitely carry ranked on vindi. You're right that other classes are easier to play. Try this: hang back at the start of the fight and wait for your team mate to attack an enemy. Once your team mate has the enemy below 75% hp port in on the enemy and finish the kill. Continue to rotate around the map using this kill finishing playstyle and playing off your team mates. Let them start the fight and you finish it for them. You'll find your team is winning lots of fights if you play this way.

@@homage3 thanks for the tips I'll try them out in my matches and will keep following your vids and guides cause they do help haha. the last 2 days of pvp have been so frustrating for the same reasons I said before: it seems like most classes have 1 or 2 buttons that can completely delete your entire HP bar while vindicator feels squishy, feels like it hits like a wet noodle, and is mechanically pretty challenging. but i;ll keep trying to improve and make it work

For runes you can take: - Ranger (highest crit chance) - Scrapper (good toughness) - Spellbreaker - Holosmith - Reaper For relics you can take: - Daredevil - Isgarren (highest damage) - Antitoxin You can also sneak in an opportunity sigil on one of your weapons to really crank the damage up to 11.

@@Kyraios it depends what map I'm on. But I'd say I prefer dual swords on vindi. That being said I can acknowledge that GS is generally the better weapon.
