+Britania 1234567890 Rigo is a master at avoiding punches. FMJ runs away. I did like him when he was much younger. Then he was fantastic, now no more. He simply doesn't fight when he's in the ring. He throws very few punches and runs all the time. With Rigo it is always great fun and fantastic boxing skill performances.
@chickensodelicious8 жыл бұрын
+John Maddin You forget that most people who watch boxing aren't boxers. They don't appreciate the science behind it and only want to see a knockout or brawl. I think Rigo is naive to say he doesn't know what he's doing wrong. To anyone who doesn't appreciate his boxing skill (most people watching), he's incredibly boring. He's not a pay per view sensation and lets face it, doesn't matter how many wins you have or how many titles you can get. Boxing is a business now and if you can't make money for the business, you won't make it.

Perfect timing and such smooth movements, he makes you miss but only just, He so calm while letting his opponent just miss by an inch even though they could KO him, so little margin for error. his breed is a dying one and not because there aren't fighters who like to be defensive and love ''Boxing''.(Floyd,Ward,Rigo,Wlad,Bhop ect) but because networks are contributing to it.preffering fighters who would brawl as if they were in a street fight rather than the sweet science it self.Im not saying brawls and all out wars are bad.heck I love me one of those every now and then.But as a true fan of the sport I also appreciate the sport for what it is which is what rigo does.Boxing, hit and don't get hit,The sweet science.Fact is todays boxing fan base for the most part is casual fans.They don't tune in on Friday night fights or local cards no not at all.You only see them coming for the huge PPV cards.Thats it.And these are the fans that the networks are appealing to and trying please while The pure boxing fan is left out and in turn Fighters like Rigo are not given a chance and pushed aside.Somewhere out there You'll find kids with terrific boxing skills but the market tells them to go out there and forget all that boxing crap.Thats not entertainment.You want to get paid and be on a major network on PVV?then Go out there leave everything hangin get hit 20 times and hit back 21,Bleed make the other guy bleed and you'll get paid and assure a spot for 2 more years if you make it that far without a serious injury or brain dead.

Why would he change his style? Who the fuck is qualified to tell this guy to change his style? Best amateur to step in a ring so far and an impresive pro record. This cuban is boxing, that's it, otherwise he wouldn't be able to beat fighters 15-20 lb bigger consistently. Professional boxing in USA turning a bitch with all the promotors bullshit, put this guy on TV, he is the best skills wise in boxing today even past his prime
