I've met Guillermo back in Havana last year on a university scouting trip. Nice guy, really humble, yet distant and quiet. You could tell he really is a deep thinker. He invited us out to eat, we had pollo asado with rice and beans. :) When we dropped him back off at the gym, he got the car and just before closing the car passenger door he attempted to give me a kiss on the lips. I refused and that's when he got very aggressive. He suddenly fell into a deep rage and started swinging at me using no boxing technique whatsoever. I simply pushed him off just before he landed a good punch on my temple. We drove off immediately. We looked back and saw Rigo flipping us off screaming, we left Cuba the day after. Shit got weird real quick!

He's the only fighter other than those two who seems to have complete mastery of the ring whenever he's inside it. And while it is true that he doesn't have the personality and dynamic style that could turn him into a superstar, the fact that his career is being left to mothball by Bob Arum is disgusting.
