Lots of requests for this one, and I finally made it. The Guillotine choke is one of the most versatile chokes in the game. In this video, I show some of my favorite and most useful areas to use this choke, ranging from self-defense to sport, standing and ground, all over the place. I'm new to the game and my teacher told me champions tend to get really proficient at around 3 different submissions. I think I'm going to take the declutter approach and avoid info overload to get pragmatic. Videos like this 🔥

The reverse evil guillotine (17:30 ) is something I also came up with many years ago, but I never fully finished it, cause I thought is was not BJJ and not so gentle. But with your demo, I am now happy to announced students over here, that it can be used.

Details are very good showing direction of pressures....my jiu jitsu is wrestling based and been doing it for 16 years and rarely see direction like this...Good Job.

@@KnightJiuJitsu got 2nd in absolute!! Unfortunately lost my first match in my weight division and was eliminated. Held onto subs that weren’t there and didn’t look to score points, regrouped with my coach and made adjustments. Doing Fuji bjj tournament on the 18th! Thank you so much!

Technique, timing and conditioning are the most important. After technique and timing come attributes like strength, speed, size, flexibility. They’re all important. Technique is number one though.

@@KnightJiuJitsu Thanks, i reeeaally have to work on technique, im a complete noob though i'm really strong, that's the only reason I am able to survive, could you tell me what to do to work up to a good Jiu Jitsu baseline? even this video is complicated for me to fully remember even if they are simple mechanics

Just stick to basic things and drill lots of reps. Once one thing becomes really clear, lots of other things with similar principles become clearer

Bruhhh can you show up how to do a D'arce choke like a professional I mean like fighter of UFC I've seen D'arce chokes of those professionals and the technics they do are different when a jiujitsu teacher teaches

@@KnightJiuJitsu what I mean the thing is when a opponent does to a tackled to the other opponent, the opponent who's receiving the tackled he blocks that but he does a different d'arce choke so instead of grabbing his head of the opponent he first passes his arm under armpit and after that he gets to the throat and he finally does the d'arce choke

@@alvarogeiser6236 - I mention on the videos that I show Darce setups in, that the turtle position I am showing them from could possibly be from a sprawl, which is what you're describing - sprawling in defense to a takedown or tackle.
