Aww this brought back memories, mine would curl up on my neck while I was sleeping and I'd wake up to a fur collar lol, she only weighed 2 and a half pounds. Admittedly she ran the house. I miss her still.

My chi does this too and honest to god NEVER would jump on my bed unless I recalled her too. People need to raise their chi's correctly and not treat them like toys. They are dogs and must be raised properly and treated always with care and kindness, not dressed up like little monster children or treated like shit for videos on youtube.

My chihuahua is too small to get up on the bed by himself, but I got a little stair for him to be able to come up and join me when I go to bed.

We have a padded stool so our Emma get on the bed. I love waking up with her little happy face looking at me and I get a kiss every morning. Ya, I am a crabby old man of 68 years that loves sleeping with my wife and little dog.

I can't imagine not having my babies sleeping with me. My smallest dog, a Chihuahua, is practically attached to me at all times and I love that she loves me and needs me that much! She is very well behaved and sweet, but devoted and I love it! I would bring her with me everywhere, if I could! I even have steps for her so she can easily get on the couch or bed because she's very tiny.

When I read all the comments complaining (in a non jokingly way) about the way he's treating his pet, I'm just facepalming by the soft (and stupid) way of thinking. Guys, calm the heck down, he's not abusing, he's not hitting. It's just basic discipline. I have a little dog, and the majority of the times I don't let her get on the bed. Why? Because I'm bad? No, it's because of her hair and dirt in her paws, and I don't want any of that. Does something happen to the dog or affects her negatively? No. My dog isn't traumatized for not letting her get on my bed. Certainly, they need a bit of common sense and a bit of experience (and maybe general knowledge) to understand this. I'd really like to know if the people saying that have raised any child...

People calling him a bad owner for showing discipline... It wouldn't surprise me if Nic did let him sleep on the bed but only with permission, he was reinforcing that bed privileges are special. He's a smart owner, especially since Chihuahuas can be a pain. And I have 7! Just look at the video of Pancho getting excited after not seeing him for 3 days. That dog loves him, and Nic loves him back too.

Dont Spread well actually the dog probably has a lot of places where Pancho can sleep and idk Pancho is a small dog it could be that maybe Nic doesn't want Pancho to sleep on his bed because of his small size, he might accidentally squish him. Also my teacher actually recently got a puppy and I asked her if she her puppy sleep on her bed. And she said no because her puppy already has 4 places to sleep in her bedroom and maybe that's the same thing with Pancho. Either way people have their own way of taking care of dogs, at least Nic wasn't hitting him he was just lightly pushing Pancho away

Dont Spread most dogs like having their own bed. What happens is not that they want the bed for comfort they want to be close to the scent of their loved one. Just my two cents and little Theory

Also animals are easily trained if you don't train them they don't know. The problem is as humans sometimes we want them on the bed sometimes we don't, mainly because we don't want to hurt them if we roll over.

Oh my goodness, everyone calm down. Pancho wasn't suppose to be on the bed, so there! If he isn't allowed, he should get off. Nic isn't being cruel he's just showing discipline because Pancho isn't suppose to be on the bed.

I don't do dogs in bed either. My dog is loved, almost fully potty trained and happy. She is still a dog that runs outside, licks herself and others, and does not shower twice a day like humans in my home.
