I doubt she’s bottom 3 but that 6h nerf is actually more massive than people think

You can special cancel with 6k into Dolphin. You just hold 4 during the 6k animation.

My opinion is that may is always going to be considered good as long as she does as much damage as she does unless they nerfed her frame data so much that shed be unable to access close slash. As a may player it feels like despite the damage nerfs across the board she feels like she does more damage especially in the case of wild assault where i can easy confirm into charged WA and do an air combo (mess up) and still do 60-70% of your HP. After this update i feel especially that they are going to need to either increase health on all characters or decrease base damage stats on moves because now a lot of characters have combos that can easily get them positive bonus from midscreen. And positive bonus already increases damage so everything feels even more volitile, but also more interesting.

I really couldn’t care any less where May is on the tier list (I’m still gonna play her regardless) but I hope the community perceives her as mid or bottom tier now so I won’t get shamed for playing a top tier anymore. I just wanna play the character I like in peace man lol Also this is easily the most fun I’ve ever had labbing this character. Plinking Dolphin into stop or split was a little tricky at first but it feels so satisfying to do. The split 3 way mix is so much fun too.

I don't like it. I liked big super damage, and no dolphin mix just leave it alone. Now 6k also slower. Why? For drive rush mechanic from street fighter? Also dbfz crazy balance patch lvl 1 into lvl 3, what is going on? Well it was fun while it lasted, if I play guilty gear again ill just pick baiken. She seems more solid.
