Her normal speaking voice is high in comparison to how low she can go but it's true we can hear this kind of underlying low sound in her voice

my lowest note is 1 note lower than hers

I am a bass and my range extends to E4 and her D2 is easy for me. E1 is where I peter out. Still, for a woman to sing a D2 is beyond impressive.

@@johndeeregreen4592 You aren't just a bass, you're a freak of nature. My chest fry range can go way into the 0th octave but chest voice extends down to a C#2 most days, though I've hit an A1 once Oh and I'm only 17 so my range still has some room to grow.

@@bassmanxan3544, my lowest chest note is around B1. Vocal fry and subharmonics have changed the recorded/amplified voice game entirely.

@@johndeeregreen4592 YES the lowest subharmonic I've ever been able to hit was a C1, that was a great vocal day and it was only a few days ago actually. Anyway yeah, vocal fry has helped me reach some seriously low notes, like I said my 0th octave sometimes comes out really clear and I don't get why but it happens. I'm hoping my range continually gets lower, I'm working on having a consistent low C every day, it's hard because I can't control my anatomy but I hit it pretty frequently now. Keep bassing on!

I am a female 2 my lowest is G2, hers is D2, so 3 full notes lower. Why should you be worried? Unless your range is caused by wiskey and smokes. I wouldnt be that worried. You are just born with it. And enjoy your rich beautifull low voice.

It even has a name in the Fach system...Contralto. If you like it, take singing lessons and cultivate your voice. In Acapellagroups (especialy the all female ones they would love to have you for all the low (bass)parts. It's all about that bass honey!!!!! Go and have fun with it.

@@fletchercalderbank8498 she hit a 72 hz which is a flattened D2. You should get yourself checked. Why do you assume you have equal ability to tell pitch across the whole of the grand staff? Ability to tell pitch below C3 drops off sharply for most. Check yourself against a tuner ;) .I caught some one with perfect pitch not being able to hear when low notes that were 20 cents off. Perfect pitch is simply how you interact with the sound - not the ability to hear frequencies well. The ability to tell apart frequencies with precision is another thing altogether and some people with perfect pitch are really bad at it.

Agni Das When notes get in between like that I can hear it both ways, which is kinda strange, but it’s like those optical illusions where you can see it as either a duck or a bunny. Went back and listened, trying to hear a D, and I did, but can still hear a D flat if I chose to hear it that way, again, kinda weird but that’s how it is

@@Gaxriel cause ability to tell pitches fall off really sharply in the lower octaves and all these people assume they can hear in the second octave as well as they can in the fourth. They blindly rely on their ability and it looks ugly when it fails them like it does here. Absolute pitch is simply how you map sounds - not the fundamental ability to hear and process signals to begin with :)
