Awesome job! Would you ever consider doing a tutorial on the acoustic Building A Mystery by Sarah McLachlan? I realize it may not appeal to a lot of people but I’ve always wanted to learn it. Thanks!

IMO The guitar work on that song is very tasteful and has always left an impression for me since the 90s. Very melodic swells at around the 3:10 mark of studio version (on electric guitar).

Another great lesson! I have a request. Please teach Purple Rain; the intro the way Wendy played it( plus a cheater version cause its insane!) And the solo the way Prince played it. I know you can teach this. So many can't. And P.S . I just bought a Mother love Bone CD that I used to borrow in those days . I can't believe I never owned it!

i figured it out immediately after i posted the video. it's a dim7 chord. the 'weird note' in the A has a note from the dim7 chord and the Eb does too... and for Dean, one note in common is plenty to justify playing it over another chord :P
