This Nashville telly is a jack of all trades really… And that Bigsby just kind of adds to the versatility. Nice instrument I’ve played one on a few occasions.

I’m huge Tele fan. I’m always amazed at the tones Michael is able to get from anything he play’s. The first song was such a departure from what I think of when I think Tele! All you guys and gals are so amazing. Keep on keeping on!

My goodness, that song you played was beautiful in the neck position. So pretty! I used to have a Nashville Tele and it had some of the best Fender sounds I have ever used.

I own a 1987 Fender Japanese Strat and it’s solid wood with a three piece swamp ash body with a dark deep burgundy finish and a solid one piece Canadian maple neck with maple fretboard and Fender electronic and a mint green pick guard and antique white pickup covers and a white knob. It’s has perfect tone no static noise no distortion just that true pure banjo sound Eric Clapton talked about you know man.

Love "Closing Time At Norms". One of my favorite Lemmo songs. This Tele is honestly one that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection. So versatile. Keep it going!

This reminds of a guitar i built. Its a strat with 53 tele neck pickup and Texas Specials in middle and bridge position. Its wired like a tele, with a 3 way switch controlling neck and bridge 1master volume 1 master tone , and the middle pickup blends into the mix with its own volume. The pickups are reproductions but they sound legit, and the strat tele blend is a wonderful place to play!

Jen, Michael, Brandon and Jack are such teachers for we non-players. I never knew guitars could sound like they do and each one can change sounds so much. I never knew there are so many good brands. When I see a Rickenbacker, it brings back so many good memories. Play on my teachers, play on.

That Tele has an awesome sound. I could listen to Lemmo play a whole album of music off that one guitar. It was great to see Norm again today. Continued well wishes for the boss. Excellent finish for a Mexican tele, versatile beyond a regular. All good tones, nice to hear that strat tele middleground and Lemmo's song choices are hauntingly good. An impressive tele.the Cat - See Channel for much entertainment/solo guitar music.

I had to double check it being Mexican Made, it sounds just so beautiful. That’s largely in part to Lemmo’s playing, great stuff!

Longtime Norm’s viewer! I love that you guys are playing with the format. I always thought it was strange to do a reveal when the thumbnail always tells us what the guitar is. One thing I miss is song/artist selection where the GOTD would have been used or featured heavily in an artists catalog. Keep rocking!!!

I think that telly is the prettiest telly I have ever seen. I have a butterscotch and I plan on installing a Bixby on it. I don’t have the three pick up but I’m thinking about putting a hamburger in as well. The Nashville is a beautiful telecaster no doubt, I would buy it.

I love my Nashville Telecaster, although I wish it had a Bigsby. I also use the Mel 9, outstanding pedal.

I love starting my day out with Straturday videos. It’s always exciting to see what fine specimen you’re going to pull out of its case. I’m always amazed watching you play Lemo, you’re really good man; you’re like a prodigy. You always seem to pull something fresh out of your bag of tricks. You seem to be an open channel and that’s true a gift. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. As for Jen the mystery woman behind the camera, you’re pretty awesome sauce too even though we can’t see you 😵☹️... Thanks for doing what you do. But the real winner in all of this is Norm! Yes Jan wow Michael I’m a rhythm guitar player and in the first three positions that you played it really inspires me to learn more new chords and different tuning options that you can play on the guitar. I know this is an old video, but I’m surprised no one mentioned you’re using the Bigsby incorrectly. You don’t pull on it like a Floyd rose or Strat trem. The proper why is to push on it. There is never any pulling involved. I was playing my 335 with a bigsby and I actually hated it at first. The reason being because I wasn’t using it properly. Once I put down the pick, strummed with my thumb and pressed down on the trem, I totally understood it’s function. Now I love it. Lol

The Nashville Tele pickup setup is my favorite configuration. However, if I were going to use a Bigsby, I’d have to get either a drilled-through string axle or a Vibramate Spoiler. Makes string changing so much easier. That’s a very cool Tele though. And Lemmo sounds great as usual.

Great job Michael it's always a treat, man I've been looking for a Nashville Tele set up like this one, I have a sunburst like it has a black guard though, I like the tortoise shell guard much better as well as the bigsby for more subtle trem applications, excellent for slide work as well, get your Mick Taylor licks out fer this one, I love the noiseless pickups as well, great guitar for studio work as well as live, I believe I'd like to have this one for my collection, shoot me a price...

Michael, I watch every Guitar of the Day...Love listening to you...I am not a musician but love music...I have a request regarding types of guitars...I see some back up guys playing guitars without a headstock and often wonder how they tune...Please enlighten me...Thanks, Capt. Ron

they have little almost bullet shaped barrel kinda tuners on the bottom comeing off the bridge. They're essentially just upside down. You but the strings through little holes at the top of the neck, instead of through the body or a "Stoptail" on a gibson and then your tuners are at the bottom instead of on a headstock.

Great pick and finger work! not sure about the pedal although it was interesting, Tele looks pretty chunky with all that metal, seemed to do the job though and a nice sound.

Sounds nicer than most tele reviews.. I usually don't like the "Gumband" sounds of telecasters. Maybe it's just the amp and pedal. But tone is warm for a change
