I extracted a song from a new band I'm in ( dropped a#), and I just want this to tab it out. Intermediate bassist in death metal. Getting nowhere. Is there a simple link?.. long winged as you are. I might as well Ear it.

Is it possible to write for two (or more?) instruments at once on the same score .. I've been looking round the internet for days and can't get an answer to this anywhere? So, can I have two separate staves above and below each other for say guitar and bass or rhythm and lead?

Great question! The best way I can think of to do this would be to turn on the multi instrument view. You can do this from the menu up the top. Unfortunately you still have to write each instrument in separately but they will be above and below each other on the score (great for doing a bass and treble part). Once you've enabled the multi track view you can then just select which instruments you want in your view. Hope this helps in some way 🤘🎸

@@AndrewSmith_Music yes, I've just figured it out ... One must "Add Track" by right-clicking on the track at the bottom of the page, only then is it possible to click on "Multitrack" in the view tab (or press F3) and have two separate tracks to score (Bass/Guitar, Rhythm & lead Guitar etc.). do I have to insert chords with the chord diagram and insert with mouse every time?? very time consuming! any shortcut?

So you can either: - Add the chord diagrams with the mouse - Use the ' A' key for the keyboard shortcut ( I have a video with 50 guitar pro shortcuts here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9ifl89yu5awqps.html) - Or you can tab out the chords themselves

Hey there Alan! 1) Firstly, I can't believe I have never heard that song so thank you for putting me onto it because I love it! That keyboard sound sounds like more of a 'pad' or lead kind of sound to me. So you would find something close in this section of the instruments tab (right hand panel of guitar pro). 2) So you can slow down the audio and guitar pro track using the relative speed setting up the top next to the tempo and metronome or ctrl + 9. You can then adjust this to a percentage of the actual tempo of the song. I can certainly start working on a step by step guide for that! I'd be more than happy to do that. It certainly can! I've found I usually just have to change some of the sounds for the instruments to get them to sound how I want. But other than that it should open perfectly 😊
